You don't clearly see from the picture but the upper part comes out and you can lock it both ways. One where you can see the card from sides and another where the cards are hidden. This is great if you don't want everyone to see what you're carrying and still carry minimal yet useful items like license, credit card and other form of ID s that is frequently used.
