Excellent protection for your phone. I have dropped my phone several times and it has protect it.

Good for drops but after about 6 months the rubberlines on the case are peeling off

I’ve always had the otter box defender and it was very hard for me to choose another case. After reading reviews and talking with a Best Buy employee I decided to try a speck. I needed something with grip to it because I handle my phone a lot. Sleek cases just seem to fly out of my hand. This case is AWESOME !!!! I really love it. I can finally have an ultra slim phone that i don’t need to keep in a bulky case. I highly recommend this case. I’ve dropped it a couple times and my phone is still intact. I am very happy with this purchase.

I love this case. It is thin, so it doesn't add much bulk to the phone. The way it wraps around the edgesnof the phone, I believe it will protect well on an edge drop. The side of the case isn't tight against the side of the phone, so if it takes a shock from the top/bottom/side, the small space allows the case to absorb the sharp impact without transferring it directly to the phone itself. The back and sides of the case have very grippy ridges that make for a very secure hold on the phone, even with wet hands. It's also handy for leaning the phone against something sideways so I can watch a video without having it slide down flat onto the table. The one thing I would change is to add some grippy ridges on the bottom of the phone, so it could be leaned against something upright and not have it slide down flat onto the table. However, that is trivial.

I like this case a lot. It is light weight and gives good protection and also gives a good grip. I usually tend to buy two or more cases but this time i just did not want to buy any other cases because this is just perfect for me.

I’ve used Speck Candyshell Grip Cases for three years on previous iPhones. This is the updated lineup that’s a little bit lighter and thinner but the same grade of protection. It’s grippy and provides good drop protection.. we’ll see how it does now that glass is back again. These also work just fine with Qi chargers for you iPhone 8 friends. I’ve used both the Presidio and the Candyshell with the Belkin chargers and got good results.

Need new case for my 8 Plus. Fits well, is light and has great grip as the phone, and some other cases, tend to be more slippery.

When my husband moved to an iPhone 8 Plus, he loved it but was afraid he would drop it because it had such round edges. He was used to the angular edges of his iPhone 5S! The Presidio Grip Case was the perfect answer. The ribbing gives a very good grip and the solid black color gives the case a sharp look.

Luv this case!!! My daughter recommended and has dropped her phones many times with no issues. I’m a previous otterbox defender user and such a relief to have a sleek yet protective case. I love the way it has grips on the sides yet slides easily into pockets or purse. Highly recommend.

This case is very solid, provides a great grip, and will protect your phone very well. Wireless charging is not doable with this case but everything else works great.

I've ALWAYS owned Otterbox and decided for something more compact without compromising protection. I made the switch. FYI-It does not come with a glass protector so don't forget to grab one. But the grip is AMAZING and fits like a glove in your hand.

I was actually looking at other cases when the B B mobile associate showed me the Speck. I chose the “grip” version, which really helps me when my hands are cold. The case fits great, looks good, and has taken a couple drops with no damage. Great!

I recently got an IPhone 8plus and needed a new case. I had a IPhone 6 and had a speck case on that. The case has ridged grip on the back which is easy to pick up. Very easy to grab phone, It’s the best case I’ve had yet.

Compared to the old case i had, this one is surprising slimmer yet feels for solid, not only do i feel it protectors more... the extra grip this case gives the phone makes it less likely to drop

Already dropped my new phone a few times and kept the glass intact. I love this case because it doesn’t slide easy on tables or in your car on dash. The little rubber grooves help it stay put
