The speck is my favorite phone case. The grips are perfectly placed and the quality of the phone lasts a good amount of time. The price isn't bad either.

This is my third Speck iPhone case. The non-slip grip as well as the overall sturdiness of the case have never let me down. Simplicity at its finest.

I like the grip cases a lot. Unfortunately the market is drying up for a good grip case and this is the only really good one out there. The rubber parts do break off over time, but the functionality is great.

I’ve always used protective cases on my phones and look at them as being essential. Phones are so pricey now that a simple slip of the fingers can result in an expensive replacement purchase. I don’t prefer cases that claim “you can run over this phone case with a tank” because they’re too often bulky, oftentimes require a belt clip, and are generally so heavy that putting one in your pants pocket cause people to stare. Nevertheless, the Speck from Presidio has been my go-to case for years now. The construction is light weight and it has ribs on the back side for better grip. Grip, or lack of it, has been my bane for years. Just like a number of other electronic gadgets, manufacturers build their devices to look sleek and attractive. And often they use materials on the outside that are just plain too slippery for me. I have dry hands and find these materials difficult to hold on to. That said, I like the Speck. It’s easy to hold on to, it fits perfectly in my pocket and is light weight, and it has an attractive look about it. Equally important, it does a great job of protecting my phone from falls. This particular Speck case is for the Apple iPhone X and XS. It’s not difficult to install at all, and the case – which is rigid at the sides and corners – is built with two layers of protection. According to the manufacturer, it has been dropped tested at 10 feet. The box it arrived in indicates that the case has a lifetime warranty. The case has an opening on the back for your iPhone’s camera, two slots at the bottom for speakers and a third slot for the charging cable. The case is also compatible with wireless charging. All in all, I think this is a great case and I highly recommend it.

Always have had good luck with Speck cases. This is about the 5th case I’ve bought, no complaints.

I love speck cases and I love the grip lineup they’ve had for a while now. This case falls in the “candy shell” case category. There is a soft rubbery inside with a hard plastic on the outside. What makes this case different, and one of my favorites from speck for a while now, is the ribbed grips on the outside of the case. Speck has been living in the sweet zone for a long time with their protection to bulk ratio. I find that the phone still gets lost in my pocket with the case but I’m not worried about a drop from chest height. What makes the grip unique is your ability to manipulate the phone in your hands without adding any significant bulk. I take a lot of pictures at work, so I’m constantly moving my phone in landscape, then back to portrait to either email it out or make any necessary edits. Since I’m surrounded by machines and constantly hovering over mezzanine railings to get a better angle, keeping a grip on my device is top priority, especially since phones are getting bigger and harder to navigate one handed. The cut outs on the case are spot on with a wide opening for the charge port for larger chargers while the buttons are still protected and easy to actuate. I find that dust has a hard time getting into the case which prevents scratching in the long term. What I do get, and it’s expected, is debris around the bottom speaker and microphone cut outs, which can be easily cleaned by removing the case and running under some warm water. If I ever collect more than one case for whatever phone I’m using at the time, I almost always have the speck grip.
