The Speck Presidio Grip iPhone Xr Case provides great security and protection for your treasured, but somewhat fragile, iPhone. With iPhones now costing $1,000+ it is very prudent to add a protective barrier around your phone to minimize the chance of damage when you inevitably drop it. The bigger iPhones (like the Xr and the Xs Max) are much more likely to pop out of your hand while using it. This Speck Presidio Grip case is certified to protect your iPhone Xr from damage in the very sad event of a ten foot fall! The Speck Presidio line of cases is noted for its thinness, protective qualities and outstanding durability. Speck is a premier manufacturer of protective electronic equipment cases which was founded in San Mateo, California in 2001. It was acquired by Samsonite in 2014 and has won numerous product design awards. The case snaps around the iPhone Xr with very little effort. Once on, it is very secure and will not easily come off. The case is surprisingly thin and does not add significantly to the bulk of the iPhone Xr. The full front surface of the screen is still accessible after the case has been installed. The appearance is very clean and there is no obnoxious brand name on it, just a stylish little asterisk (the Speck logo.) The matt finish of the black case is non-reflective and is designed to resist discoloration from heat, sunlight and chemicals. Speck backs up the case with a lifetime warranty, so you can be assured that it will last longer than your phone! Once the case was installed I noticed that my grip on the phone was much more secure, thanks to the raised rubber ridges on the back. The iPhone still easily slides into the front pocket of my jeans. But the raised ridges are an added security feature which may prevent the phone from accidently slipping out if you carry your phone in your shirt or jacket pocket. The design cleverly protects the screen with a raised bezel which should keep your screen from impacting on hard surfaces if you drop it. It is still possible to crack your screen but you would have to hit an angled surface (like a rock) for the screen to make contact. I suggest installing a protective glass screen over your iPhone’s screen for added security. I had no issues with charging my phone wirelessly and I did like the fact that the ridges made it less likely that I would accidently knock my phone off the charging pad and onto the floor. The only drawback (and it is a minor one) is that the nice yellow color of my phone is now visible only as a tiny sliver of color around the camera lens. Speck does make a clear case but it is not as highly rated for drop protection as this one, nor does it have the raised anti-slip ridges. I am delighted to give this great iPhone case my full and enthusiastic recommendation! Buy it and slip your precious iPhone Xr into it before you say oops!

Went to Best Buy in Naperville to buy a cell phone cover for my new phone. The sales person had a phone just like mine. She new just where to look for a cover for me. I was completely satisfied when I left Best Buy

This is now hands down my all time favorite iPhone case. I purchased about 5 other cases for the iPhone XR before getting my hands on the Presidio Grip case and I can honestly say that this is the best of the bunch. It is slim yet rugged and protective. The grooves on the sides of the case make the case very grippy and let you have a secure hold on your phone. I did not do a drop test but the case looks and feels like it would at least be able to withstand a drop from 6 feet. The case has enough "raise" to protect the screen and camera and the material is rugged and sturdy. This case keeps the iPhone XR slim and lightweight. The phone is big and this case does not add much bulk or weight to the phone. It has a nice matte texture and does not attract fingerprints or dust and lint. The volume and power buttons have no issues with this case and remain clicky and responsive. Charging ports and speakers also are unobstructed with this case. I am the type of person who constantly buys new cases for his phone, and I can honestly say that I plan on keeping this case on my phone as long as possible. It is a very nice and sleek case and keeps the iPhone XR slim and light. I highly recommend this case.

I never can seem to hang onto my XR securely when it doesn't have a case on it. It is too slippery in my hands and I want some protection on it in case I drop it which is inevitable. An XR looks great without a case on it but I need to protect my investment. That is where this Presidio Grip case from Speck comes in handy. The case fits securely and snug on my XR. The phone is easy to pop in out of the case without too much trouble. Speck offers some great drop protection and a raised lip to help protect the screen in case of a fall. The look of this case in all black is really nice and I love the raised grip lines which give it an added depth look. This will add some bulk to the phone body but it gives me more confidence holding onto a thin slippery $800 device. The buttons are all responsive and you still have that tactile feel from depressing the buttons. Overall I like this color scheme in all black on black. The feel of this case on the phone is helpful in having it not slip in your hands. It's a good case but I still prefer a previous version I had from Speck in a candyshell grip. That case was a bit more tacky in it's feel but the Presidio Grip case is just as good.

Very comfortable to hold in the hand, and very grippy. Has a nice amount of raisivity to protect the screen, but not bulky at all. Very solid, sleek case. I love it!

This is a great case! The title basically sums up how I feel about it. The case is slim while providing a great grip, and the case is protective of the protruding camera glass and the edges of the screen. The rare times I have dropped my phone in this case, it suffered no harm from the drops thanks to the case's protection.

I've had Speck cases before and haven't seen impacts on the phone after any drops. This one still has the hard case with raised shock-absorbing materials, plus grips. I had my phone knocked out of my hands earlier this week, and the case took all the impact, phone was fine.

Fits well including all applicable slots and openings that are needed, easy to install on phone, protects and especially appreciate the grips on the back since the phone itself is very sleek and slippery to potentially drop.

Replaced bulky case with this one and was impressed by the fit and feel. Have already dropped phone once with it on and it stood up well...not even a mark on the case.

I’ve had this case for almost 2 months and I like it. As the title states, it’s a slim and protective case; which is exactly what I looking for. Now, the presidio grip feels great and I never feel like I will drop it...knock on wood. The one problem with this case is that the grip frayed so easily after being in pocket with my keys. I didn’t do on purpose, I forgot as I was handling groceries and put the phone in the wrong pocket. That one wrong move cut the grip part on the bottom corner and it was game over. I think speck makes the best slim, protective cases on the market. They are snug and fit like a glove. If you don’t want the issue that occurred with the presidio grip case; check out one of specks other cases. Even with this issue I plan on keeping the case due to its slim profile.

Previously we have bought Speck-Presidio cases for our Apple iPhones exactly for what the name says -- "grip." As we have gotten older, we have found that our fingers are not as tactile as they were. The ribbed grips certainly help us. Of course, we have several years of experiencing the benefits the cases provide for those inevitable "drops" and they do exactly the protection job intended.

Purchased to protect my new iPhone XR. It fits like a glove, makes gripping the phone more secure and protects against drops.

The case offers good protection and is easy to take on and off. One small issue--there are no "ridges" in the corner where the camera cutout is located, so the phone does not lie perfectly flat when on a flat surface. I have used a similar speck case for another phone - overall I am very happy with quality.

Very grippy. I would definitely purchase this again. My only concern is the hard plastic skeleton cracks where the switches are because the plastic material is thin. I don't know if it something that could be improved upon. Bottom line... I have dropped the phone several times and the case has always done its job.. It protects the phone! . I would like to purchase another one.

Speck has always exceeded up to my expectations. This is the 4th phone I've used the Presidio grip on. It's comfortable in my hand and protects my phone without excessive bulk. I'm clumsy and drop my phone too often, and the case still looks great.

I needed a case for my new iPhone and I wanted it to have some grip to it so that it wouldn't fall out of my pocket easily. My last phone case would slide out of my pocket too easily. This case has a great feel to it and it is very stylish. Love it!

The iPhone XR is difficult to pick up and hold due to the shape of the metal case. This Speck Grip Case is the exact opposite. The grip is very secure. You have to apply pressure to make it move around once you have it in your hand. Excellent case.

Have had a Speck case on my prior mobile device and purchased the same when I changed my device. Super grippy with good protection. Perhaps the only potential shortcoming is it is not as comfortable for a single haded operation as the prior one that I had but perhaps that is more to do with the mobile device than with the case itself.
