At first it was awkward thick and now I’m really use to it my laptop is safe and it feels nice and I hope I don’t ever drop it but if I do I feel it is protected!!

I’m usually not a fan of anything that adds weight and bulk to my devices. Took a risk and purchased the more expensive hard shell case. Though it adds some extra bulk and weight, the protection it provides far outweighs the added “burden.” With 5 kids that’s a huge plus for me. I wouldn’t suggest using it as a nerf target, but if that somehow happens you’ll feel much better having the case.

Pricey but great fit and finish and 4 feet protection promise

I bought this case over others for its 4 foot drop protection. This case is fine, but stuff gets under it somehow and the corners yellow pretty easy. If that bothers you, and you need the drop protection, you can always send it back to Speck within the 1 year warranty for a replacement. I would rate the case higher, and recommend to all maybe if it weren’t $100. I would definitely check out some competitors, such as the UAG rugged case for pricing and see if you like a different alternative. If you need the drop protection I would recommend or if you really like Specks products (I do but I’ve been pretty disappointed with the clear ones)

I am very pleased with this case. I wanted something that did not add bulk or weight but still protected my laptop from scratches and damage if dropped This does everything.

The case is dark but still one is able to see the Apple Symbol. Its sturdy, easy to put on and take off and protects from accidental drops.

This is the coolest case I've yet to find. Very lightweight. Not too bulky. I haven't dropped my macbook but if I did I'm pretty confident this case would protect it.

Case fits great and looks good. Provides ample protection. Doesn’t add much weight

Finally, I found a Mac cover I love! It fits, it STAYS ON, and hasn’t cracked our come apart at the corners. Totally worth it!

I bought this for my son's computer. Wile this case is a bit bulky he loves it. Much better made than Incase. He is happy that his computer is safe from potential falls and looks great in clear. It's been on his computer for 2 years and he is very happy with it

Love this cover. It is lightweight and doesn’t make your laptop too heavy or bulky. Good protection from drops, etc.

Yes, I would buy again and I would recommend this case to others. Accidents happen and this case can protect my Mac

This case really works well. It has special siding to help protect Macbook even more if it were to fall. Love it!

I’ve had this case for a month or and have no complaints. It snaps on quick and fits snug to the laptop

I really like this hardshell case by Speck, it's a little thicker but it I think it makes it more durable. I haven't really tried to see if Speck's claim that it will protect your computer from damage if it falls from 4 feet or less, but it does feel secure if it should happen. I really like the non-slip design for better grip which has prevented my Pro from slipping at coffee shops or when I haven't noticed the surface is flat.

This case fit perfectly on my MacBook Pro. It's clear and durable. I always trust Speck cases.
