I also bought a plain, clear Otterbox for about $5 less. I figured if my son disliked the Speck, we could trade. He REALLY disliked the Speck. He decided he liked the Otterbox well enough, which is great. They are both about as high quality as you can get for phone cases. I put this Presidio Speck case on my phone. I agree. While it's highly functional, it REALLY isn't attractive. I just can't do it. It's going back today. It's not very easy to put your phone in the case, but that's a good thing. The sides are inflexible, which is also a good thing. The Best Buy rep showed me how you can hold the case (phone inside) in the palm of your hand and hold your hand at an angle, and your phone doesn't easily slide out. It's true, I tried it in the store. My palm wasn't even sweaty. It's a great case if you like the design.
