Others have complained about the "head" following off when bumping into objects. This has not happened with mine, yet I do not run it full speed into things. Can be sluggish at times to get moving, yet I would still recommend. Have not tried the wrist command module. Cheers.

BB-8 is a great toy for all ages

We use the Force Band mostly but also control the droid with the app for our Apple products. Either way, it is an enjoyable experience. For actual control of the BB-8 unit, I recommend the Force Band because it does a better job and you feel more in control.

Mix of education and fandom!

This is a great education and physical movement toy when coupled with the force band. The edu apps have a good interface for coding. If nothing else it’s an old fashioned hi-tech toy that keeps kids engaged and away from screen time! Buy it when there are deals.

Fun, Fun, FUN....

He got it to roll in and out of the legs of the kitchen chairs and table and according to him, he taught it to play foootball ! Runs best on hard floor but can move on carpets also. As much as my grandson loves it, my dog hates it ! (Go figure....)

The force is strong with my family...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as a gift for my 25 year old niece and then because she had so much fun with it, I bought one for my 14 year old nephew. Hard to say who enjoyed it more. Connecting the wrist band took a little getting used to. But, once that was set, everyone seemed to control it well. My niece now torments her cats with her BB-8!

GREAT GIFT

I always ask someone I observe to be a very informed salesperson..and for a toy like this..a young person. Several recommended this...I read about it online then purchased it. Great Success!
