I had to change from my ZTE Warp Sequent as it decided the wifi and battery didn't need to work all of the time. I've had the Volt 2 for a few days and am happy with it's abilities. Quick web search, decent camera (slightly slow), texts and calls. It does what you need it to do. Can't go wrong for the price...the screen is much larger than I expected and it's a fairly easy Android to use.

The bigger screen on the Volt 2 is less tiring for my eyes.
There is less lag when switching between Apps, than on the original Volt.
The battery seems to last longer on a single charge.
I miss the physical button that is placed at the bottom of the screen on the old Volt.
I would prefer the volume/on off buttons to be on the side of the phone and not on the back.
Excellent phone for the price.

3 months so far with my LG Volt 2 and I have had no issues with the phone. This is my second LG with the volt 1 being my first. Took a week to get used to the power button being in the back. Takes good pictures, battery last me all day and its a good looking phone.

I use it with ring+. No problems activating it and using it out of the box with ring+. You can activate it without even opening the box.
The phone is a major upgrade compared to the original Volt. Not used to the power and volume buttons located on the back of the phone. The location of these buttons makes taking screenshots near impossible. Theres a lot of useless apps that can't be uninstalled traditionally that take up half of the phone's memory. So a microSD card is a must.
The phone is a nice size that fits in my small hands and pockets of my skinny jeans. The widgets are lacking, I'm not sure if that is solely related to the phone alone. I have yet to drop it but i hope it keeps up with the original Volt( dropped it a full flight of concrete stairs and came out with minor scratches). The battery life is much better than the original Volt by anout 25-35%. The phone does heat up a little after half an hour of texting or emailing or charging. The back cover feels like it will break when i try to take it off. So i try to keep the back cover on as much as possible, meaning no extra battery or frequent swaps of SIM or microSD.
Touch is responsive. Several apps tend to freeze and then crash, may just be related to the apps themselves.

Bought this recently for my Boost mobile plan. The large screen size is a plus and the speed is an upgrade from my previous phone. The phone is cheap and competitive in the low-end phone market for the price. Very affordable, yet effective. Good battery life. Camera is usable but not great. I would recommend this for anyone on a budget.

this is great phone with a big screen, Its nice and thin too. The only issue i have with it is the same issue i have with most phones and thats internal memory. As android gets bigger and bigger you need more internal memory as most apps wont download straight to your SD card. Luckily these have plenty of storage with the SD card you can pick your size unlike a stupid iphone. Well worth the $100 i paid for it.

I have two parents (67 and 70) who are in desperate need to come into the present age of phone technology. Although this phone is not the most advanced, it is a great start for my mom. She learned to use it quickly and I see her using the camera to post onto Facebook. Battery life is great. Now my dad, who is 70, wants one as well because of the larger screen lets him see better.

The phone is good. Screen sizevis great. Storage is lacking but you can add an sd card for more storage. It's weird to have the volume and power buttons on the back so it takes some getting use to. The ear piece volume could be louder as well. Over all, this has been the best LG I have purchased so far.

Newer sleek stylish back with a curve. Processor is also pretty decent and switching the buttons to the back gives the phone a different but better look. You can definitely tell this phone is the upgraded version.

Very few downsides to this phone - no problems with speed or apps working. Only downside I've found is small amount of storage space on phone which was easily remedied with an SD card. Just remember to move apps and photos over to the card.

We got the phone for our 13 year old. Easy to set up/activate on our account. She loves the bigger screen size, and the camera is far better than her previous phone. It was very easy to find a case for it as well.

So far I am liking this phone. I've had boost for some time. The coverage isnt always perfect but that is going to depend on where you live and what your needs are. The volt 2 has the new android 5.1 which has taken some getting used to. The battery life is also supposed to be better.. around 21 hours I believe. I dont notice much difference compared to my LG realm which was around 17 hours. I like the slightly bigger screen, it still fits in my clutch although Im getting a case today so will have to see after that. This phone has all the features you could want. I maxed out my memory on the realm which is supposed to have 4gb but has nowhere near that with all the bloatware. Looked into rooting the phone but never could figure that out. The volt 2 has 8gb of memory. If you are not app crazy this phone will work fine. I dont like that I cant change certain colors.. like the ugly orange in messages. The volume is on the back which takes getting use to.. however you can create controls on the phone screen. The phone is also curved, dont see that mentioned anywhere. It has a nice 8mp camera. With android 5.1 I can no longer created a shortcut on the lockscreen for the flashlight. I have to OK GOOGLE and tell it to turn on or off... I use this in the morning to not wake people up... having to tell it to turn on and off kind of defeats that purpose. I wish I could change some of the icons.. the gallery icon, etc are ugly. The phone has 4g and hotspot compatiblity.. I have no idea how to do this on this phone.. dont see it anywhere... still learning. Overall a great phone for $100.

I bought it to replace my Moto G phone that died. So far, it is a great inexpensive phone. The only thing I can say that isn't great is the volume, it could be better.
