Not a KitchenAid and too heavy

The website said it was a KitchenAid branded item. It's not. It is very well made but so heavy it can fall off the mixer and perhaps affect the overall function of the machine. It probably weighs 3-4 times that of the crappy ceramic coated hook that came with the mixer and prompted the purchase of this replacement.
