“Star Trek: Discovery” - season 2 brings back the same great level of acting, effects, & stories introduced in season 1. A little disappointed that the creators/ writers have decided to remake some of the episodes from the “Star Trek” Universe but these re-writes aren’t bad at all, as they give additional ‘fleshing out’ of established crew & situations in the “Star Trek” canon. My only real complaint is that the series is currently run on an exclusive steaming service. Good thing they decided to put the series on Blu-Ray. Anxiously awaiting the BR release of season 3. Well worth the watching!

I really enjoy Star Trek Discovery. The season picks up right where season one left off. I have always been a fan of Star Trek but I never considered myself as hardcore as many others do out there. This show has been considered very divisive among the Star Trek fan community due to the change in tone and storytelling. I also feel that this show is a great jumping on point for people who have never really watched a lot of Star Trek before. I like the changes that have been made in this series. The special effects are near theatrical quality and the pacing is much faster than old Star Trek. If you enjoyed the JJ Abrams films than this is the series for you. Older fans might find this to just not quite be the Trek they are looking for. Either way I would recommend any fan of good science fiction to watch both seasons of this slick production. Highly recommended.

I like Star Trek. I have seen all of the movies and tv series so far. I know a lot of fans were disappointed with Discovery. But I'm not so picky when it comes to Star Trek. So far Discovery is a fun journey through space with some old characters and new ones too. If you are a casual fan of scifi you will like this, so give it a try. Just make sure to start with season one of Discovery and you will understand where all of the characters come from. It doesn't make any statements on society like some of the other Treks do, but it is an adventure for scifi fans.

I had read many positive and negative reviews when this show launched. I am old enough to remember the premiere of TNG and DS9, both of which were also bashed before they had even started. I picked up season 1, watched it with an open mind and enjoyed it. I looked forward to season 2 when I learned it would feature Christopher Pike and I was not disappointed. We got to learn more about each of the regular characters, and it was great to learn more about Captain Pike. Can't wait for season 3!

What can I say? This was purchased as a Christmas gift for a STAR TREK fan who wanted it. I am sure that this will be a most appreciated gift since I can see how popular this new series is. I have every confidence that this show is as good as it's popularity warrents, and Best Buy's service of delivery is the best you can get! If you like STAR TREK, or know someone that does, this will be a most appreciated gift!

I have been waiting for several months for this Blu-ray disk of Star Trek: Discovery Season 2 to become available for purchase at Best Buy. The quality of the Blu-ray disk was outstanding with no scratches, glitches or pixelating. Thoroughly thrilled to watch all episodes.

The story lines have changed quite a bit from the previous season. The characters have been developed a bit more as well. The stories are quite "large" compared to the original series, meaning that the original series had a different story every episode. These episodes may have a small story inside a larger one, that continues for some time.

Since streaming is the only way you can see this series, buying it was a priority for me. Season One was good, but Season Two is even better. Can't wait to see the next season. The newest Spock is really good. For people who know classic Hollywood, check out his last name to see who his grandfather is...no spoiler I hope.

When I bought the first season on blu ray, I hadn't seen it yet.It is so different that any other Trek stuff and the pace moved so fast that it was a lot to take in. After watching it a second time, I was amazed at the writing and how well the show was put together. Am looking forward to season two! Good price at BB.

They would not play in my UHD player, not Best Buy’s fault or issue. Probably need to update firmware. Played it on my blu-ray player and picture was incredible! Plus awesome to see the Enterprise and Captain Pike again! Highly recommend

I really enjoyed this series, the only real issue (if you call it that) is the technology is more advanced then the original Star Trek. My only other note is that if you use "Play All" you miss the two Star Trek shorts (I wish it had them all). I had to "hunt" them down after watching the finale.

For fans looking for a good dose of Sci-Fi, this one will meet your fix. Great visuals, incredible story telling and the disc format presents sounds and color that pop. If you follow the franchise, this series should be added to your collection.

The bad thing is this series is only available on CBS's streaming service. There is also no digital copy of the series. The good this is the series is quite involving with great SFX and good cast. The series depicts the Discovery's officer who is Spock's half-sister who has conflicts about how Starfleet is handling issues.

So I won’t pay for CBS all access for just this one show, so I wait until the Blu-ray comes out and binge them. That’s the way to watch this show. Enjoyed this season, even with the overly emo scenes and not Nimoy nor Quinto Spock.

The powers that be are really doing the franchise justice with "Discovery" One of the best shows out right now. The addition of Pike, Number One, Spock and the numerous references to canon keep this show fresh and true to the legacy.

Well thanks to Captain Pike this season was much better than the first. I like the show with the exception of Michael Burnham character, She is like the Wesley Crusher of the TNG series. She can go away and the show would be much better. I would like to see the Captain Pike's crew in their own series.

The Star Trek continues with Discovery Season 2 and its better than the first. Great story line amazing visual effects (the best on any show on TV). The Blu-ray brings this season to a whole new level and beyond.

I loved this season. I could not wait each day to see another episode. A great masterpiece to buy for the Star Trek collector. Did I say I loved, loved, loved, this season of Star Trek. Highly recommended.

Am looking forward to season 3. No spoilers but the last episode leaves you looking to the next episode/season. Really good visuals and audio for this season series just like the first season.

If you are a Trekkie I am sure that watched Season One. I found it to be excellent. Season Two has been found to be excellent. Good story lines, excellent actors and realistic Special FX.
