I've been a big fan of Warcraft games. Starcraft is very similar to the game i grew up playing. So getting into it was great. I do like that you can link the game to your battlenet account. Meaning I can lose the disc in my boxes in the garage like I always have and still be able to access it from my computer via battlenet. Overall the game is super fun. I played it on my macbook air so graphics looked decently good. When i played it on my PC the graphics did show a lot more improvement. Storyline is solid. Gameplay is entertaining. Made me want to play the expansion ASAP. So I did. Recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of starcraft and anyone who enjoys these types of games. Do recommend you pick up starcraft 1 to get the story line better.

I had used a friend's guest pass a couple of years ago to play for a few hours and waited to buy this until it was a bit cheaper. Really enjoyed finishing this part and am working on the second part - Heart of the Swarm. Runs well on my Phenom 945 with AMD HD4770 video card.

This is a great game for anyone who is familiar with the old Starcraft. It still has the same great gameplay and a pretty cool story line to go with it.

If you loved starcraft 1, you will really enjoy this. It starts off sloe but by mid games every level is challenging yet rewarding.

Blizzard has always been the best at RTS games and star craft 2 is by far the best RTS available in recent times. With 1 expansion already out and another one this year its worth to pick up at the 19.99 $ price

What a great game. Probably not worth the amount of time it took to come out but still a great game. RTS seems to be a dying genre on the PC which is a mistake because the mouse is still the best way to do it. The Queen of Blades is an iconic character who it hard to give full villain status because of the tragic nature of her creation. I loved some of the new units like the Thor(but hated his sound byte). Great game with a great story that probably could have benefitted from more RPG features.

Bought this game to hopefully relive some nostalgia of late nights playing warcraft 3 with friends. Though it is similar I just can't get into it like I did all the warcraft games, must be those peons I miss.. Jobs done.

If you like real time strategy and enjoy the products by Blizzard Entertainment then make sure to pick up this sequel title. There aren't too many companies that deliver. Blizzard delivers.

Graphic wise with the right video card, AWESOME, but with a normal one, LAGS. I like it but it's really made for multiplayer. Short single campaign.

Fair warning--I am a big fan of Blizzard. That said, I was waiting fro the price to drop, but never got around to purchasing SC2 until now. I thought it was a great improvement over the original. I like the mechanics, achievements, and the game play as a whole. For older computers, such as mine, your processor might overheat. Since it only happens a little, It doesn't overly concern me. TLDR: Good purchse.

After many years, this title lives up to the Starcraft name. Visually stunning, captivating storyline, and hours of enjoyment both online and single player. The only downfall is the requirement to have internet connection to play single player. Those few times when the internet goes down, it'd be nice to sit back and enjoy the campaign mode all over again. There is definitely hours of enjoyment in this game.

Needed another CD key. Only issue was even though game was on included DVD, had to re-download game from Blizzard website which took a while.

I have never been disappointed by a game from Blizzard and they just seem to build on the strong foundation they have, every game is just more than the last...

The story is short but very good and simple to grasp, also online game play is fanomal,

Played starcraft and warcraft before. They took a long time to get the game out but its still fun to play. I like sci fi type settings and this give me that.

While the online play is still the main attraction, there is a decent single player mode. Even with discs, there is a big online download so be aware.

Have played all Blizzard products since the original Warcraft it's always amazing to see what Blizzard will do next. I thought I was over the whole Real Time Strategy thing but Starcraft 2 had me cranking through the campaign with just one more mission. It's awesome how they can make things familiar yet still be new!

Really enjoyed Wings of Liberty. I recently purchased it when it dropped to 20. Well worth the 20, until Lotv comes out.
