Used it for a month while driving from NC to Alaska every time we set it up it worked the only thing negative is there is a bit of a setup time for it to find satellites if you aren't leaving it setup. Then we paused the subscription when we got home, great to have internet when you are on the road and travelling!

I had the Gen2 and this thing is so small and light! the setup as usual is easy and best thing is you can run off a ryobi battery and a inverter so cool.

Perfect item for van camping in places with limited cellular service. Just make sure you get the dc car plug from the Starlink website if you don’t have an inverter.

Works really well for our use case in Forestry where our team is all over Colorado, Arizona and California...closes the gap for our team to have good connectivity in the most remote locations!

This exceeded my expectations, I travel a lot cross country and would usually encounter many spots where I wouldn't have any cell or data signal. Never again, There hasn't been a moment where I'm not in touch with fam and friends.
Luckily I bought this on sale and the unlimited plan is truly worth it.

I'm extremely pleased with the Mini. It was easy to set up, and we didn't need an internet connection to begin the process, as it provides one hour of free access to get started. After choosing a plan, we were online. Occasionally, we have to adjust or reset the dish slightly, but overall, the internet is fast and reliable.

Long story short, internet line was cut and was not going to be fixed for a couple of days.
I was already researching starlink and decided to pick up the mini. I was able to set this device on my back porch and it covered my whole house with wifi.
I also took it on the road with me and it was awesome.
I am currently only using this as a backup and if I travel. I absolutely love it and glad I got it

Find a relatively unobstructed spot in your yard, point it up and sort of north, turn it on, connect to the local wifi STARLINK network, you are up for a day or two while you select a monthly Starlink Internet service.
Pretty easy.
If you want the $5.00/mo 500kb service you have to grab the cheapest available service to start about $70 for one month then convert over after that.

I love the Starlink Mini, I have been able to remain connected on camping trips, road trips, and even during all the wind power outages we've had this year in Colorado! It's easy to toggle plans on/off when not being frequently used too!
