We have an RV and WiFi at a campground is known to be spotty at best. We often use our phones to hotspot, but even that can be a challenge at times. I finally broke down and purchased Starlink Gen 3 and love it. It was essentially plug and play. I hooked it up at our house and opted for the 50G Roam plan. I placed the Starlink on the ground and let it do its thing (made software updates). When we got to the campground, I attached it to our camper via a Flag Pole Buddy mount and we were rolling. It was amazing how easy it was. If you're on the fence, I would highly recommend it.

Excellent product. The speeds I get are well over 200mb/s, with low latency. This is better internet than I could get in the old city I lived in! Now I’m in the country, where nobody else services, and get perfect connection. We have 2 gamers in the house and 2 other non gamers. We never notice slow downs, and it never goes down. I’d highly recommend this or the mobile version. My only complaint is the price, at $120 / month is pretty spendy. Owning a business is helpful since you can write it off.

Starlink Teminals and service can be life changing in Rural areas. The ability to make WiFi calls, and Zoom Calling from areas with little/no service is a "Quality of Life" change.
HughesNet monthly service costs the exact same amount as Starlink, but the difference in speed is not comparable. HughesNet delivered 34MBPs compared to Starlinks 314MBPS at the service address where this was installed in Rural Montana. Single cable to install through the wall, 15 minutes to activate, and be "Online" I have 3 units in service at this time!

We needed reliable internet in our new rural home. We tried to get the DSL setup and they kept telling us to wait for Fiber, T-mobile sent us a wireless internet router even though they in fact did not provide service in our area.
finally i stopped putting it off and made the investment in Starlink. I am extremely glad i did. I was able to pick it up from BestBuy and set it up SAME DAY. The speeds are consistently above 150 mbps, never dipping much below 50 mbps and occasionally reaching 250+ when the starlink satellites align. Plus, if there is ever a better deal for fiber internet in my area and need to cancel, i own this equipment and can subscribe month to month to take internet camping or to more remote locations.
If I had to touch on a few downsides (not enough to diminish the overwhelming positive value of the service) it would be that providing a consistent signal throughout our 2200 sq ft house needed the additional purchase of mesh nodes/boosters. Without one the signal was still around 20-50 mbps in the basement. starlink sells additional routers for $150, but i decided to put in a TP link wifi mesh system though for slightly cheaper and that works great.

I love the Gen 3. It is literally plug and go. I will tell you the G3 needs a pole adapter, which I am waiting on. It is literally sitting in my yard, taped to a table and running faster than I could imagine. I will attach photos of speeds after installation thru to the next day. The app will show you exactly where it is and where it needs to be. Starlink has a company set up your account and they charge 199 and your 1st month Starlink fee.

Really easy to set up and install. Have a flat roof house so super easy to lay flat. We live in a super rural area surrounded by acres upon acres of pecan trees. With centurylink we were barely able to get 3 mbps , with Verizon Business Internet it improved to 25mbps. With starlink we have been able to consistently get over 300mbps. It has transformed our streaming and gaming experience dramatically!

While getting past the initial sullen feelings regarding ownership of the company, I took a leap of faith and gave this a shot with the intention of running this as our primary internet service for a campground with literally zero cellular coverage in the middle of nowhere, Vermont. Two people worked full-time with multiple zoom calls, while accessing systems and email remotely. This thing hit +400mbps at its max and easily stayed stable around 300mbps even with overcast and daily rain showers. I am now a believer! We just got the roof rack frame and will be trying out roaming down the highway. Fingers crossed, we will be pleasantly surprised again! Would recommend over and over and over again to friends and family.

The best internet for rural areas
We live in rural area of the mountains in central California and were forced to pay $100 a month for 25 mbps internet for just about the same price we get an average of 275 mbps with starlink with 4 kids and a wife that stays on her phone i dont have to worry about a lagging connection

Absolutely love it and would recommend it to anyone who lives in a rural remote area where there is maybe only 1 other carrier!! It’s been amazing a life saver truly, it was easy to install and get going I done it all by myself and I am not a very technically inclined savvy person, so for me to be able to install it myself was a great achievement, but it’s truly super easy to use and it’s great super fast speed not one complaint yet and I’ve had it close to a month now!

I love this! I have more location options for working while traveling in my RV. I can now stay in places where there is no internet or cellular service because I can use the Starlink. It was easy to set up on the app and easy to start a service plan. I got the roam plan and I love it! I will include a picture of my speedtest results from my last campsite.I could work, stream movies at night, and have peace of mind because I could make calls with my cell phone connected, too.

Starlink has been a game changer. Two hours from civilization in the middle of the national forest I was getting 250+ Mbps down and speeds between 15-30 Mbps up. I was able to do everything just as if I was at home including crystal clear calls and connectivity as long as I had a clear view of the northern sky. These speeds were on the Roam Plan that does say speeds may be throttled. I was also able to mount the receiver flat on the top of my SUV giving excellent connectivity even when in motion.
If trees or other obstructions block your view of the north your experience may be seriously degraded.

Purchased the Starlink system for a permanent solution at home. This system is utilized as an automatic back-up during any local outages in internet service. System was easy to install and set-up and has been working flawlessly since day #1. Highly recommended if you have a clear view of the sky and are seeking reliable service.

If you are a mobile person and need high speed internet anywhere, this is IT! The price for service is a little steep but I live in an RV and this thing rocks! I have been getting unreal speeds, better than cable! Point it at the sky and your are on your way!
Having the ability to access unlimited high speed internet anywhere is the best! Simple set-up and the app is very useful. There is a router included so you have everything in one box. Hook it up and GO!
