I am very satisfied with Starlink. Easy set up, east install and it works very well. Quick downloads, fast internet. I would recommend it.

Installed this up at our cabin because the local ISP offers really slow internet (5-25mbps, and unguaranteed up to 50mbps for more money) which won't work for our needs (see: work). Home internet options from the carriers (T-Mobile and Verizon) aren't available in that area, so Starlink was the only viable option. The speed range has been really strong so far. We get anywhere from 90up/10down to almost 400down/40up (with a nearly fully unobstructed view).
The only negatives is that the startup cost is more than a traditional ISP, and you have to do your own installation. Depending on where you are the installation may or may not be challenging. Our is up about 40 feet on our roofline. Then we had to go back up because Starlink says to have it facing North, but they define north differently than a compass does. So when you're done doing the installation, power up the system, you'll likely be told that you're misaligned and have to reposition the system.
You've got to pay for the Starlink system. Then in our case, we have this setup with an Eero mesh network to have full coverage around the house/property, so that added even more money to the total cost (which to be fair, the mesh network would have been a cost regardless of the provider).
Plus...does the company's owner need more money?
Outside of all that though, we're more than satisfied with the performance thus far about 2 months into using the network...especially compared to the alternatives.

We travel in an RV and always have a problem with internet. THIS IS THE ANSWER! For $150 per month we can break down this internet in 5 min and set it back up ANYWHERE in the US. Watched some YouTube videos. ethernet cord pulls out with a little tug. Has 2 LAN connections on router for VPN and another LAN. Set up takes 5 min. If you have an RV and want internet, this is the way to go! Download the Starlink app before hand, scan the sky (no different than satellite TV, clear view of sky. Has snow melting feature! We love it! Daughter and I game online and stream while wife streams all day. Speeds of up to 200Mbs down and 15 up. We gave up satellite TV and no longer look for an RV park with decent internet. You can do the $120 per month option but can move it around the country. Global has different price. If you can, go with Gen3 (the flat dish with small folding arm). It can be set up using battery with additional hardware.
We have dish on tip of camper (secured), Cat7 cable goes in thru slide to router. Plug from wall goes to power supply, power supply goes to router. See everything on your phone, alignment, speed test, obstructions and statistics. You can pause billing so when we go home we just pause it until we go back on the road! YouTube videos were a big help! Watch them before you buy.

I get good internet with it. The speed varies a lot. Download varies from 35 to 250. Upload varies from 15 to 45 It is great if you can't get anything better. In my case, I can't. I am in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. I put it on a 11 foot pole at the corner of my house facing North.

I am so happy we finally have an option for modern day internet speed. We live in a rural area and our only option were cellular hot spot (not good) or an internet provider that used old phone lines as the mean of transmission. Our speed was around 6-7 mbps.
Since installing this our speeds are reaching the 230-250 mbps speeds. What a difference. The service isn't particularly cheap, but we don't have options.
Install and set up was fairly easy. I would say it took me 2-3 hours and that was me doing it alone.
I bought a wifi extender and now my whole home has really fast internet.

Awesome product. So far about a month in and loving the ease and awesome service. Great downloading while gaming and streaming on several tvs. Easy to set up and several products available to install properly through walls and different material.

Took about 15 minutes start to finish, extremely easy to setup and amazing speeds for us In rural areas. I would definitely recommend starlink to anyone.

Its honestly really nice. Brought it back home where the wifi is really bad (like one download from the app store can take an hour to finish) and it really was an upgrade (now downloads apps in lees than a minute). Of course it’s not better than spectrum and the other wifi carriers here in the US but still way better than the providers back home. Thanks Elon!

The equipment itself works great but customer service by Star Link is not great. Thanks to the help from the Geek Squad, we got our Star Link up and running! And it works really well! We recommend this but be aware that if you need help, you'll get lousy help from Star Link. The Geek Squad does great!

After a few minor problems of my own, getting Starlink set up, working great! Love it! Definitely worth it, even though we had to purchase the 150’ cable.

Starlink is awesome!! I live in rural Kentucky and it is blazing fast compared to satellite internet or mobile hotspot. Would highly recommend to anyone who has satellite TV or mobile hotspot for home use. You can save a lot of money!!

Purchased system to use on a residence in an area with challenging fiber network. I have since moved. It performed well and I was pleased with the connectivity and uptime, as well as the speed. It was of great value to me and my family for the year.

We live in rural Michigan and our internet was very poor. We decided to try StarLink. We were advised that Best Buy carried what would be needed to install this product by ourselves. We were pleased with the assistance we received at Best Buy and are excited to finally have good internet service.

The Starlink system is awesome and easy to set up. Speeds are very fast and it can handle a lot of things connected to it without slow downs. Delivery was super fast! I ordered on a Sunday and it was delivered Monday. Great job BestBuy!
