    I bought one of these and set it all up and could not get the second monitor to work on either computer. I tried all different kinds of cables and still nothing. I returned it and got a replacement and it was ALMOST the same. The second monitor would show momentarily, but had missing rows of pixels and if I moved my mouse, the monitor would blank out. Still have not received a refund for the second one. Not buying another one of these brands EVER.

    The switch worked perfectly out of the box. Worked great the first time out with a PC Windows 7 & 2 HP 24" monitors. 2nd computer is a Lenovo Windows 8 tablet. Somewhat tricky to set up as you have to use the control panel to clone the tablet display and assign it as screen 2. Screen 3 becomes the secondary monitor screen. Not a miss since installed.
