Cannot extend desktop on Mac, is a MST Hub.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This device is an MST Hub, which as of the time of this writing is NOT supported to drive two displays individually using macOS 10.15 and earlier. It will drive two displays mirrored, which is not frankly very useful. This is important information that should be part of the product description (I found out after purchasing and trying to resolve this from StarTech's support site.)

This little device is exactly what I needed. Works perfectly and takes up very little space.

I can’t imagine working without that second monitor and this made it possible.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Set everything up, loaded the driver. Both monitors worked at first but then apps weren't opening so I restarted my computer now the adapter doesn't work at all. I will return tomorrow.
