After, a month I started hearing a static through the headset.

Don't waste $$ - Get the "Geek Squad" insurance

The 1 year warranty just ran out & now the left earpiece has faint to no sound. Did all the troubleshooting but no help. I would def suggest getting the "Geek Squad" protection. These were over $250 & now I can't do anything with them. Categorized now as a waste of money :-(
