I bought this with a SteelSeries keyboard, in which I'm using to write this brief review with. The mouse is nice, and to me, wireless is preferred... I've never been able to go back to a wired mouse (even for gaming, which is recommended).

I like the mouse very light weight and like the auto off feature when it’s not in use. It uses batteries but it last a good while. Has nice features when using the steel series app. If you don’t mind using batteries then I would recommend it.

Best wireless mouse out there with the best price and quality.. it is light to use and have a good quality.. material has a texture to it and definitely wont slip out your hand.. best for everyday task will do good in gaming.. it will automatically shut off to save battery when not in use. it has bluetooth and a wireless receiver you wont worry loosing your little receiver anymore because it has bluetooth.. Compared to my old Logitec G305 this one have a better build quality and features than that..

Favorite Gaming mouse I've used only drawback is that AAA batteries drain after a few days and you need to remember to turn it off. The weight is perfect and the mouse fits my hand great. the Sensor is perfect fine and Software is easy to use

Steelseries Rival 3 is a great all around mouse and a great mouse for beginners to get used to. Battery life with 1-2 AA is phenomenal. Ease of use is great. Excellent mouse for small to medium hands. Side buttons are a little low for large hands. Excellent gaming mouse that won’t disappoint a player during playing. The Steelseries software is easy to use. Mouse is on the heavy side with 2 AA but can use 1 AA to lower the weight but all around a great mouse to start out with

Good valued gaming mouse, but i find it a bit underwhelming. Doesnt have much going for it other than it being the average mouse but with RGB features and wireless capabilites. Would recommend if needing a cheap mouse that works, also make sure to turn it off after use, batteries get drained fast when left on.

I have been using a wired mouse with programmable keys on my desktop for several months to edit videos. I wanted the same functionality on my laptop, which has SteelSeries for its built-in keyboard.
I programmed <pause/play>, <volume up>, and <volume down> into the default quickly enough. The <sensitivity toggle> was an unexpected bonus. I look forward to easily adjusting sensitivity when I want more precise mouse movement.
I have been using Microsoft 4000 mice for years, so it will take a bit to get used to the lower profile of this mouse.
The battery-saver feature is also a Godsend. I frequently walk away from my mouse for hours and forget to turn off the mouse. Yes, you do have to click a button to wake the mouse up. I've learned that lesson in less than a day.
I cannot speak to battery life, but I will give SteelSeries bonus points for including brand-name batteries.
My laptop only has one USB port, so I connected it to BlueTooth. That was easy enough. I am currently using the RF frequency. Time will tell which I will settle on.
The off-connection button is tiny and very tight. I found it challenging to stop it at OFF. It's loosened up some already, and I am getting better at it.
I would definitely recommend this to a friend who wants the extra features it has.

order online since the mouse was at the otherside of the city. came in the other day. it is a very good gaming mouse. 1 AA battery or 2 AA battery for longer usage but the weight with the battery is heavy so go get the lithium bettery for less weight or rechargable ones. wireless is clean on the destop and office space with no wires even on laptop with bluetooth on. do need to install the software to use it.

its very easy to set up and on the 2.4 setting works great. ill admit when i was on the bluetooth settibg it was super laggy. i probably couldve trouble shooted it, but when i found out about the 2.4 setting it made lide so much easier. it works perfectly, no lag. the mouse is pretty simple, but thats what i was aiming for anyways. i like how it looks like a notmal mouse, and not some typical gaming contraption.

First and foremost, the Rival 3's lightweight design is a game-changer. Weighing in at just 77 grams, this mouse feels incredibly nimble and effortless to maneuver. The ergonomic shape fits comfortably in hand, allowing for hours of gameplay without any discomfort or fatigue. It's worth noting that this mouse is more suitable for claw or fingertip grip styles due to its compact size.

It rarely worked when I needed it to and the battery life was just awful, brand new batteries would only last about 4 hours I even tried rechargeable batteries, at first I thought I was a battery problem but I switched to Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse and that thing is a Beast definitely better for the price of $40 which is $10 cheaper than this one. You couldn’t pay me to use this one again.

The build quality and buttons on this mouse are top notch. The ability for it to switch between 2.4 ghz and Bluetooth is a lifesaver. However, I did have issue where the mouse would lag sometimes. It didn’t happen often, but when it did it was irritating.

The mouse works good, haven't used it in gaming yet. The only issue is the three position on off switch. The middle position is off, but there is very little travel in the positions so it is hard to tell when you have it there.

Just got this yesterday and was so impressed with how fast and responsive it was. My Razer mouse buttons started sticking so went down to best buy to see what I could find. Not a hardcore gamer by any means. I paid 29.99 for this where as I paid 79 for my Razer mouse. This feels better in my opinion and smoother. Highly recommend at this price.
