Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the Rival 600's customizable weight, vibrant RGB lighting, and comfortable design. Many appreciate the high build quality, precise sensor, and responsive performance, along with the extensive customization options offered through the software. However, some users have noted issues with the side button placement and durability of the grip, and a few find the price point to be relatively high. The software is generally well-received for its ease of use and extensive customization options.

I cannot say enough good things about this mouse. The RGB software is intuitive and easy to use, the mouse is light but also comes with weights incase it is too light. It fits the hand well and the buttons are very well placed. After about two weeks of use I can say that this mouse is one I would definitely reccommend.

    Steelseries Mice Rock

I love Steelseries mice! I had issues with some of the lower-end models having large rubber grips that would peel off after several months of use. Didn't make the mice defective but it was quite a nuisance. I do not foresee this being an issue on the 600 as its finished in a flat black plastic with very small grips. The L/R Clicks are floating and feel great. Just a bit 'clicky' and responsive. I expect to get a lot of life out of them (and im hard on mice). The RBG stuff is cool, I guess lol. Scroll wheel feels like it should hold up, however it is a little "mushy". Works fine, but not my personal preference. The side buttons feel very tactile and are easy to differentiate. The mouse is a bit heavier than your average mouse if thats something youre sensitive to. Even with none of the included weights added, its heavy. Probably not an ideal FPS mouse for that reason but I could be wrong. Will serve me great in MMOs! Overall Steelseries work best for my hands (certain mice make my hands cramp up). 4 Stars only because The scroll wheel could be improved upon and even on sale, you will find this mouse cheaper than BestBuy.

I have a small hand so this mouse is excellent. I love the fact that it’s light and you can add weights 4 grams each weight totally up to you. Side buttons are big love that. The RGB is dewy and gorgeous. The CPI can be changed based off your preference with the SteelSeries engine you download on a pc/laptop. Highly recommend.

This mouse feels solid and the customization is unmatched by any other gaming mouse that I’ve used. Being able to adjust acceleration, deceleration, lift off distance, polling rate, and two DPI profiles, not to mention the eight RGB zones makes this an excellent value. The optional removable weights are an added bonus.

Simply an amazing mouse for the price. The sensor is top notch, and doesn't ever seem to suffer from any sort of stuttering or lift-off issues that plagued so many of the other modern gaming mice I have owned. The included weights to customize the weight of the mouse are also a neat touch, and do make a difference in the ergonomics.

Compared to the SteelSeries Rival 310, this actually felt like a step back for a mouse. It has 2 sensors. One of them being a customized PMW 3360 (they call it TrueMove 3). Aside from that, it 'looks' like a DeathAdder with a slimmer front (not flared out). It's a very well balanced mouse but the grip is very wide in the middle for some reason. I really had a tough time doing flick shots and quick swipes due to how large this mouse is. There are a lot of reviews that are praising this mouse and maybe this led to my disappointment. Overall, at 96-98 grams (its lightest weight without the extra weights), it's just not that easy to use versus the Rival 310 (which is about $20 cheaper) where it's almost 10+ grams lights and quite smaller and easier to flick aim and shoot with. This is worth about $59.99 but at $79.99, you're hovering around decent mice like the G703 or G903 which perform even better withOUT a wire (wireless). Give it a shot. My 18cm hands just didn't find the Rival 600 very practical to use in FPS games.

I have had many mice from various companies over the years and needed a replacement for my Razer Naga as I am playing more FPS than RPG games but wanted something good for both. This is a very versatile mouse with excellent build quality. Easy to adjust the weight and performance with the Steelseries app and much more intuitive than Razers software. Overall highly impressed.

This is a great mouse for a first "real" gaming mouse. With all 24 grams of weight added, it has a perfect heft for my play style. The left and right buttons have a nice tactile feel, as does the wheel scroll and button. The side buttons are a bit mushy, and sometimes unresponsive. It does have RGB, and can be controlled through the Steel Series Engine app.

I own upwards of 25 mice. Razer , Cosair to now Steel Series. I have tried just about all of them. No mouse is perfect for everyone but you can find one that is perfect for you. For me the 600 is that perfect mouse. Sad part is it was the last one I purchased. Its highly accurate and fits my hand perfectly. If you have medium to large hands I would give this one a try.

this mouse is a close contender for fps to the basilisk v3. its biggest features are how amazing the app is at fine tuning for both the optical sensors and the weight you can add into it giving it a really rugged heavy duty feel

I purchased this mouse to use for digitizing artwork for embroidery. The mouse has three extra buttons on the side that allow faster activation of keys I would normally have to use a keyboard for. The mouse also includes eight magnetic weights to customize the device to what is comfortable for the user.

I have owned far too many mice and when I first got this one I knew it was the one. Perfect shape for my 19.5x10cm hands and the weight, although a little high, works for me. The clicks, scroll wheel and side buttons are all top notch. Not a complaint. They include weights with the mouse, I’m not sure who would ever consider using them but, they’re there.

Perfection. I got this for my husband to upgrade his old Corsair gaming mouse. I wanted to get him a matching set (we got the Apex 7 gaming keyboard as well). He loved the weighted mounts, to lighten the mouse or make it feel more sturdier.

A very customizable mouse that has won over my heart... I used to own a razer death adder mouse and coming from that I prefer this a million times better, the adjustable weights and feel of this mouse has given me a much better feel for overall gaming and work!

This is good mouse, nice shape which fit most hand sizes. Feels well built and has custom weights to adjust it to your liking. Only thing I noticed was there was a slight latency with the clicks, if you are not a gamer u might not notice but you do notice that slight micro second delay. Would definitely recommend this mouse.

This mouse was pretty great for the most part, I didn't bother with the weights but it performed well. I was away from it for a while, and when I came back I thought it was wireless, and tried tugging the cable. It stopped working for a while, so I just unplugged it for a while and took it home for my temporary home setup. It ended up working once I plugged it in again, so even if you're really rough with the cable due ot incompetence like me, it should be ok. The rubber grips on the sides were comfortable, but have poor adhesion, and are falling apart. Overall, the performance itself is fine and the cable was pretty insane to survive what I put it through, but the rubber parts of the mouse can't stay on, just stick with a unibody plastic with some texture.
