This controller is perfectly fine if you manage your expectations. It is certainly no xbox one or ps4 controller, but it is solidly built and serves its purpose. I use it for gear vr.

Just wanted a cheap/decent controller for a handful of games on steam. This works great. Recognized and calibrated automatically by all games so far. Also really like that it's bluetooth - so no extra usb receiver needed like with wireless controllers.

Best feeling controller I've used . The issue is it dosent work correctly with all games and constantly requires remapping on some games it can't decide if it wants be to a controller or a mouse. The software seems to work without issue. Like I said its basically a Xbox and PlayStation combined it feels really good otherwise. Also note this controller has a really nice heavy feels but also lack any feedback, rumble feature. Overall recommend using a Xbox controller.

The Steel Series Controller allowed me to use a controller to play Fallout 4 on my laptop through a blue tooth insert. Before buying you should make sure your computer has the speed, memory and good graphics card for everything to work without hanging.

I wrote a bad review stating how this controller was designed well but would not work well with games played on windows 10. I finally came across some information online how the anniversary update for windows 10 messed around with the Bluetooth connectivity for non-Microsoft Bluetooth controllers. So I wanted to update and say it's not an issue with the manufacturer of the Stratus XL but an issue with Microsoft, hopefully an update comes out soon, in the meantime I decided to return this and pick up a compatible Microsoft controller, I recommend others doing the same until they come out with a fix.

Pairs quickly with both my Android tablet and pc. I prefer having heavier full sized controllers with gaming and this fits the bill perfectly. I wish it came with a rechargeable battery pack built in but the battery life is by no means short.

Couldn't find a lot of Bluetooth controllers in Stock at local stores. I don't like buying online, so I gave this one a try. So far it has worked flawlessly.

This game pad does what is expected of it. Easy to set up with smartphone. PC is a different matter, can be tricky, does involve a few seats or even reinstalls.

This gaming controller is very much like an Xbox controller except that it has both thumbsticks on the bottom which I really favor. Works perfectly with my phone and computer. I find this to the best bluetooth gaming controller out on the market!

The controller is hefty and solid, but not uncomfortable. It's very easy to switch between devices with, as I have it Bluetooth'd to a Nexus 9, Notetab 7 and a Galaxy s7. Unfortunately, in the games I've tried it on, I have either got unexpected performance or none at all on some of the buttons. The app will display X for an action, the X and maybe some other buttons won't work from one game to the next. (X is an example, could be A, Y, whatever) It's not the hardware, that's fine, the same button will work in another game..something on the software side. I understand the issue could be app side. As a consumer I was kind of hoping for a more complete solution right out of the box. So, if you're intending to use this for an android device, there are some apps on Playstore that can help, though they require a bit of know-how and understanding of a technical nature, with most requiring root to begin. I'd have given it 4 stars if steelseries had their own support application and 5 stars if it also worked more reliably with less configuration required.
