The Roku - Streaming Stick+ 4K is awesome! Prior to the stick we were relying on the poorly designed Samsung Smart TV interface for accessing streaming apps. What a miserable experience. The Roku - Streaming Stick+ 4K on the other hand, is nicely designed and intuitive to use. The picture quality is excellent. The remote is simple and uncluttered. The WiFi connection is 100% reliable. I have only good things to say about this device. If you're suffering with a badly designed smart TV experience, make the switch to Roku. You will thoroughly appreciate the difference.

The Roku Streaming Stick is the best value for anyone looking for a streaming device. I own and have used several of the other options (Amazon and Google) but the Roku is easier to use, has a better remote and is the best option if you like to take it with you while traveling to connect to hotel wifi. The AppleTV is a great device and I also own one of those, but it is significantly more expensive than the Roku Streaming Stick. With the higher cost comes better options, but the Roku accomplishes the majority of what the AppleTV does at a fraction of the cost.

I replaced my old Roku Express with this new Roku Streaming Stick. Roku Express would stop streaming every few minutes while you are watching a movie, which was annoying. With Roku Streaming Stick, streaming is very smooth; no more annoying buffering. You are also able to change the TV volume. Voice control is available for anyone who needs it. 4K streaming is great. Installation and configuration was simple. The remote control works only for a very narrow angle; this is not a problem if you are sitting more or less in front of the TV rather than somewhat to the side.

This was a gift for a mother in law who is not very comfortable with tech stuff. It works simply and the onscreen interface is quite good/understandable for anyone. I was surprised by the wireless ability - it picks up the signal in the house where other wireless devices would have trouble and constantly drop out. It can be configured to turn on the TV set and control the volume through its remote - a huge plus for an older user who would be intimidated by having to use multiple remotes. If you want to get your parents a an easy to use device that can stream Netflix, MLB, or other content, then use this device. It is basically a plug and forget it device.

Super easy streaming stick. Upgrading from an older, pillbox shaped version. This new one is equipped with cable to either plug into wall or directly into tv via usb for power - very convenient. The stick fits snuggly into back of tv. Easy set up as usual with ROKU, especially if you already have an account and reliable wifi. The product is compact so easy to take along when travelling so you can catch your shows anywhere. Packaging had an unfortunate amount of plastic that was not marked for recycling.

As long time Roku user this new Roku stock is great. The simplicity of the connection to the TV, as shown in the picture, is a huge plus. I just plugged it into the HDMI port and then powered it straight from the TV’s USB port. No outlet! The remote can control my TV’s volume, power it on and off and use voice commands is fantastic. I can tell the Roku to pause a movie, search, switch between apps and more makes this my one remote. I just need the TV remote to adjust picture, sound modes and use it’s smart functions. Otherwise, the Roku is all I need. Really happy with this new unit. No more little square sitting next to the TV taking up a power outlet.

This has helped us get the stations and shows that we wanted. It was very easy to connect to our tv.

Having recently moved, I no longer had cable or satellite option for watching TV and needed a streaming solution. After trying Firestick, Chromecast, and Roku, my preferred option is Roku - hands down. The Chromecast device was not ideal with the Samsung TV (but I believe the fault is more with Samsung). Between Firestick and Roku, the remote for Roku is much more comfortable in hand and easier to use. I also preferred the Roku interface over Firestick. I also experienced problems with the Firestick hardware and had to return - not once, but twice.

When I decided to cut the cord from cable and satellite tv, I needed a medium which would stream everything I wanted. Roku fits that job description! I now have 3 different Roku devices and 2 Insignia TVs with Roku built-in. All work flawlessly. Provides access to every streaming channel I want. Remotes work great with each tv so I don’t have to use the tv remote unless I want to get into settings. I will say that review each version of Roku because they each seem to have different features of their remote. The remote also has 4 different direct access buttons to streaming services, but I haven’t figured out how or if I can change those access buttons.

I have two fire sticks and which I no longer use since purchasing this Roku - Streaming Stick. Easy peasy to set up and use. I love that I can control my TV's volume and mute also turn the TV off and on with one remote. Voice control is a nice feature as well. It has made my not so smart TV in my bedroom a star! I am a Charter customer so the Spectrum app was what really drew me to this purchase. The Spectrum app works great and saves me monthly on my bill for an additional box. I have purchased this Roku stick for my sister who is also a Charter customer and I am think of getting another.

This streaming stick educated my much older tv, and now its Smart. Simple to use, and what I like about the remote is not having to point it at a sensor, it's hit or miss with other remotes, but seems to work for me. Happy with this setup, fair valued, try to get on a sale. The streaming buttons on the bottom of the Roku remote with the logos are a nice touch, if you're subscribed that is. Otherwise, it's a tease. :P

I recently bought the roku since I cut the cord. The roku is actually really good and easy to use. The streaming is way better than my TV and the interface is super easy to get the hang of. Of you want to cut the cord go for it. The picture is beautiful and the stream is strong and reliable.

We’ve had Roku for awhile and it’s performed great. We’ve never had any trouble with it so that makes us happy

I purchased this for my Mother. She is not up on technology and does to learn the basics. I connected Hulu, prime, and Netflix accounts as well as setup apps for her favorite stations. She loves it! She understands how to switch between apps and loves being able to choose her shows. Keep in mind that my Mother is just becoming confusing with texting and sending pictures after owning an iPhone for five years. Big step to the Roku. If she can get it, everyone can get it. It's not bulky like the previous version that I own. This is a great buy!

I love that this Roku stays behind my tv and doesn't add an extra box to my setup. It works great and I love being able to control volume and power on my TV with my remote. The voice search function is okay but only finds specific things, not "free kids movies" and results are not in a great format. I'm not a huge fan of voice searching, so that doesn't bother me. Also, this one adds the ever-important Disney Plus button. If I could change anything, I would change the Sling button to Prime Video. Then I would have all my big 4 at the press of a button!

I currently own an Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Chromecast in addition to this Roku Streaming Stick. While the software feels a little dated, the experience is much better than most. This has become my go-to media streaming device due to its broad coverage of media sources and simple interface.

I own three Roku Streaming Stick Plus devices. They work great for our purposes and are good for both technology-savvy and technology-challenged people (I am an I.T. contractor, and my husband needs technology to be simple; we both love this). I have never had a problem with any of them. We stream from Netflix, Philo, Amazon Prime and other sources. My husband often casts from his tablet to play YouTube videos on the Roku, and that works well too. If you have fast wifi and have no need for a hard-wired connection or to plug in an SD card or USB drive to the Roku, this model is excellent.

I've been a long time Roku fan and this device delivers exactly what I've grown to expect from Roku. It has every app you'd want, it's fast and easy to use for even the least tech savvy.

I replaced an original Kindle FireStick with this Roku. It is much faster, and I like the remote better. It was easy to set up, and I like how the remote will also control my TV volume.

Roku streaming stick+ 4K with voice remote is a very affordable device that enables the consumer to cut the cord and choose what entertainment they wish to buy (from a variety of sources). Cutting the cord and subscribing to a streaming provider returns choice to the consumer (a welcome change of the status quo). Installation is easy; navigation is quickly learned with a little practice/exploration. I bought two for televisions that were not connected to a streaming device. Relatives have also recently made similar purchases. Do yourself a favor, cut the cord, get a Roku.
