I didn't realize how easy streaming was until my kids got me on to Roku. The remote is great and it's easy to maneuver using voice commands. We now just pay the cable company for WIFI and let Roku save us lots of money with the TV content. There are numerous free programming options available, but you can also pay to stream all your favorite live and local shows. The costs are far less than big cable charges. We now own three Roku devices, and couldn't be happier.

Set up was easy. After exploring everything Roku has to offer, I cut the cord and said goodbye to 3-remotes. The Roku remote controls the power and volume. I can pause, fast forward or back up. The voice remote simplifies searching for content. My remote also has 4 convenient buttons to access The Roku Channel, Netflix, Google Play and HBONOW. All this packed into a remote smaller than my hand. It's all good. Love it!

No complaints with the Roku Streaming Stick. Absolutely provides a strong signal for streaming , even located six rooms away from router. No glitches, or freezing up, or losing sync of sound and picture, as with our previous device. Simple to use. Becomes the only remote needed for the tv.

The unit works fine. Picture and sound are decent. Easy to set up. I knocked off a star because in this day and age all remotes should be backlit. Difficult to use in a dark room. It would also be nice if the remote had more functionality. I watch Xfinity Stream Beta and entering a channel number would be very useful instead of having to page up and down the guide. I was hoping to eliminate the Xfinity box in the bedroom and save $10 a month but the lack of a backlit remote has me thinking twice about doing so. I'm glad I got it during the Black Friday sale, it makes living with the remote a little easier as I do like some of the free content available.

I bought this to use with my AV system and 4K projector (also bought thru Best Buy). It is plugged into an HDMI port on my receiver and has worked great with no hiccups. It does seem to run a bit hot, but seems ok so far after a month of frequent use. Remote works well being out of site about 10 feet away behind me and the receiver. I have not used voice to control anything as I am not a fan of voice remotes for TV usage. I have used it mostly with HBO, Netflix, Hulu and Vudu (so far only 4K thru Vudu which had excellent HDR video and sound).

We have a lot of Roku products in our home with several Roku TVs from different manufacturers and Roku Sticks for a couple of older TVs that our kids have used at college. This was a replacement for an older Roku Stick that was slow compared to some of our newer Roku products so I replaced it. It works great, just like the others. I really like how the Stick can now also adjust the volume of the TV. The speed and performance are where I expect it to be and it works great. This is a fast and easy way to make your TV a Smart TV.

Finally one stick which I can use on any TV (old, new, with smart tv or not) and which have all channel together - plex, amazon, google tv, direct tv now plus tons of additional channels I watch sometime. And finally remote which can control all my TVs as well and HAVE volume buttons.

Went from old premiere to stick+. Easy to set up but delayed. Had to have the extender shipped to me, at no charge, due to the shape of the tv where the stick+ fits. Received in a couple of days, included instructions. Like having one remote for sound and roku, but sound button very sensitive. Important criteria for me was volumn leveling, night mode, long range connectivity, and price. The headphones were not worth the extra cost. Haven't used the voice search yet. Make sure to write down old saved stations.

I was skeptical getting a Roku mainly because I wasn't familiar with it. I had Apple TVs in the past. I purchased the Streaming Stick Plus. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It has all of the content anyone could want. Its not as flashy and software driven as the Apple TV but it does streaming very well. The Streaming Stick is also great because its VERY PORTABLE. It just plugs into the USB and HDMI of a TV. The remote is also great because it programs the power and volume of whatever TV I attach it to after paring it. Also they are much cheaper than the Apple TV This is definitely a tool every cord cutter should have.

Added Roku to my new Sony 950g 75 inch to help cut the cord. Needed the Spectrum App which I later discovered is only directly accessed with Samsung. (Sony should work to change this). Originally had the Firestick which IS good. Roku’s TV volume control moved it into first place. I wish both remotes had illuminated buttons. Voice control works well. Manual search is slow because of the alphabet search on screen. I’m not at all comfortable with new technology and I found it easy to set up. Roku has the HDMI extender available free from their website.

The Roku devices are simple and easy to use. I have Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire Stick. I love my Roku Streaming Sticks. These are truly simple to use that my 6yr old kid and 65yr old parents can use them. There are so many steaming app options to use it is great. My one issue is that it never shuts off. Now this might not seem that big of a deal, but if you have a limitation on internet usage, this will eat it right up. I recommend also getting an APC P8GT 8 Outlets Power Strip. This unit has a Parent/Child feature, so once you turn your TV off, the Roku, DVD Player, and another item will also power off until the TV turns back on.

First I will point out that this Roku's streaming is consistent without any buffering or delays.....as long as you have a decent speed with you internet service. I'm running 500/50 so experienced no issues. Was easy to connect, register and activate. The one MAJOR issue with this device is it had a tendency to run super hot and when it does you can have any number of video artifacting and streaming locks and lags. If you are unable to have it in a area where you have adequate airflow behind your tv, you need to order the "free" HDMI extender. If it were not for the heat issues with these stick models, Roku is aware of them, it would get a 5 rating. Roku should by default include them in the box. They ship them free of charge anyways so why not?

I have 7 tvs all needing to stream Netflix, vudu etc. This is hands down the best one. I just picked one up for my mother, who is 72 and she loves it. So easy for her to use. Just take some time to learn some of the tricks and tips you can find on the roku channel or on YouTube. Its easy to setup. Works seemlessly with all streaming apps. Remote is simple and really good. If you lose it, they have an app that works great too. Better than Android TV. Better than using Xbox or Ps4. I'd put this even on the highest end smart TV.

Our family loves Roku. Easy for the kids to use. Easy for grandparents to figure out. Really if Roku could offer a DVR service, local channels, and sports they would be king and the world could enjoy TV without all expensive gadgets like Tivo and Direct TV. This Roku is fast compared to the older gen Rokus. We have several Roku items at our home and cabin and Roku gets better and better with support/updates to keep the all items up to date. I am a tech guy and simple is better. Nice work Roku.

I am very happy with my purchase, the set up was easy and I started streaming immediately. I was amazed at how much is available to stream for free. The remote was easy to synch to our TV. I had a big cable bill every month to be able to get the very few channels we watch, but with the Roku and a couple other subscriptions I have been able to now eliminate the cable bill and reduce my expense by using the internet I was already paying for. I have since purchased another Roku for our camper.

This was so simple to connect and use. Plug it in and your done, Love the fact that you can talk into the remote and it does what you say. Very clear picture!

The Roku Streaming Stick+ 4K is perfect for what I want. I have a Plasma TV that I purchased in 2010, it is not a smart TV, I do not have apps built in. A friend suggested I checkout the Roku Stick. I went to Best Buy, asked a sales person about the Roku and purchased it, brought it home and had to set up in 10 minutes. It works Great! I am very pleased and would recommend this product to anyone looking for an inexpensive alternative regarding streaming Netflix, Disney and other channels.

Roku Streaming 4k stick with voice control is Good. Interface/menu is good not cluttered easy to navigate. Download any of your streaming services with no problem.. Has 4K so if you got a 4K TV u can get your 4K channels. Remote has volume control & voice . .
