I’ve had the amazon fire stick before and it was ok. I didn’t know how to use it and at the time the streaming sticks weren’t as popular. But the roku I love it, I have all my apps on it and it’s very easy to navigate through your different apps. The whole system is very easy to setup, it may take 15 mins with pairing the remote to your tv. It’s fast and it haven't buffered so far. At this point I’ve had the roku stick about a month and I got one for every TV in my house. Awesome device!!!

Want to stream, and not use the built-in apps from the display, then this a perfect option. Roku makes it so easy to use and set up. So many options to choose from (except HBO Max at the writing of this review.. Roku and HBO can you guys get your beef settled already). Set up is a breeze, and you can customize so easily. I added this as a streaming solution for an outdoor tv, and it works amazing. Would recommend for anyone. So many streaming channels to choose from.

It's a Roku. It has a great remote, full CEC HDMI support so it controls my TV/receiver volume and power, and the interface is super simple. It's fast, the remote works from anywhere in my room, and it has Airplay built in. I don't think you can get a better streamer unless you pay $130 more for a 4K Apple TV. If you need a faster streamer, or access to apps your TV doesn't have (like HBO, looking at you LG), then just buy it.

Much faster than the one we had that was also a flash drive / stick version. That one was only a couple years old but this one is faster, less "retrieving" time, great quality on the picture.

First, let me mention that I'm not using this on a 4K TV. I purchased it to get the latest features and I am completely satisfied. It is significantly faster than my 10 year old Roku. This is noticeable when switching menus and channels. The pictures on my 1920x1080 TV are perfect: sharper and clearer than before. The remote is excellent and works anywhere in my living room. The quality of the unit is perfect. I would not change a thing.

We recently purchased a 4k TV and needed a 4k roku product. (roku is by far superior for those who cut the cable above competitors). The quality and speed of this product was so good, we went back and bought replacements for our older model Roku's. Even put them on non-4k tv's thinking we'll upgrade in the near future. We particularly like how these new Roku remotes also can control the power and volumn on your TV. We don't really use the voice search, but when experimenting, it worked much better than expected (take that Siri!)

The Roku streaming stick plus is perfect for those who don’t have cable. The Roku user interface is very user friendly and has loads of content. The streaming quality is excellent especially if you have a 4k tv. The remote control comes with a pair of earbuds and a headphone jack for listening and volume buttons on the side. I can’t emphasize enough how easy it is to use and search for content. You can even pick your own theme and screensaver for the Roku home page. Overall, i am glad i bought this device. I can’t think of any negatives other than some apps are finicky and close unexpectedly. That isn’t common though and should not discourage you from choosing a Roku player.

* Very easy to set up. * The most usable remote and user interface. Works for my mom, wife, and kids. They all found Apple TV harder to use. * Reliable. Maintains it's WiFi connection without any problem. * Only downside: if you purchase more than one, you have to repeat steps in setup (e.g., the order you want channels listed in). I wish it would let you duplicate the setup to other Roku devices in the home.

Roku is a must-have for any streamer, this particular model is awesome for travelers! Solid performance, easy setup and portable enough to travel with. Has all your popular streaming services and often includes generous amounts of Roku distributed content. no need to take the remote if you travel with this device, just install the app on your smartphone or tablet.

This is an excellent streaming device. I already have an older version and wanted one for another TV, It is easy to use and also voice activated which is new for me. I wanted to be able to get some of the newer streaming networks that are now available. This one is great. I like how it fits in nicely behind my television without having any power cords hanging down. I am pleased with it and I hope that others will be too.

Ruku 4K Stick works like a charm! easy to configure and access channels, so many to watch! Some paid, some free, some seemingly duplicate channels, but this common for any streaming stick on the market. 4K not as much as I hoped, at this writing, paid and free programming, with more to come I hope! Easy HDMI port plug in, I was worried that the remote would not be "seen" by unit, but no issues! I used the external power supply as the USB power option did not seem to power the unit up all the time. I did not notice any buffering issues, but I never have in using older Ruku's, Amazon Fire Stick or Chromecast on my Comcast 1 Gb wi-fi network. Voice control and having 4 dedicated channel buttons is great, but i only had use of 3 of them, would be nice if your could program them for what you want them to be, not because channels "paid" Ruku to feature their channel on the remote. Of course I am assuming this, I could be wrong..... :) Also very portable to bring along for traveling, friends house, etc, just don't forget to leave the device plugged in the TV, don't ask me how I know this! Lastly, if you don't have 4K TV, this stick will not up convert the signal to 4K, you need a 4K TV to fully experience this device, but having said that, if you are thinking about buying a 4K set in the future, this will be good to go w/ your new 4K TV!

I have been using Roku for a long time and upgraded to this 4K Roku stick recently. The picture quality is definitely enhanced and there is no lag at all. This may be subjective but the picture quality on my plasma TV (which is not 4K obviously) is even better with this 4K stick vs regular stick. Set up is easy & the microphone on the remote is a welcome addition. Great value for money for a portable 4K streaming device. If you're thinking about it, get it already!

I love the Roku Streaming Stick+! Has tons of apps to stream both movies and TV. Very customizable and user friendly as well. Easy to set up and I love that you can plug it into a HDMI port and run it to your USB port if your TV has one so that you don't see any wires hanging. The 4K and HDR quality looks stunning. It truly is a great streaming stick that's worth the money!

The Roku is incredibly simple to install, set up, and use. Its remote control is completely intuitive. It is also easy to download an app to your iPad or iPhone (and, I assume, an Android device), and they also easily control the Roku. The Roku produces video and audio of very high quality. The Roku does not have some of the features of other streaming devices, but it is a terrific product for a relatively low price.

Super simple to setup and use. Does not take up any space and stays hidden behind your TV. Remote can be programmed to power your TV as well. Roku platform has endless channels to choose from from lots of free to the usual paid. My TV did not have enough power using the USB port so I had to plug in to an outlet which was the only annoying part. Otherwise quite happy with it.

Roku 4k Stick has great size, portability and its very easy to set up. Great picture 4k content. Control works great!

Roku has delivered a solid performing piece of hardware that delivers all the streaming I could ever want. Not only that, it has a special feature that allows me to cast my phone's screen to my TV OR cast content to my TV from my phone such as home videos or movies from other streaming services. The Roku is easy to hook up and the remote works flawlessly.
