Roku has delivered a solid performing piece of hardware that delivers all the streaming I could ever want. Not only that, it has a special feature that allows me to cast my phone's screen to my TV OR cast content to my TV from my phone such as home videos or movies from other streaming services. The Roku is easy to hook up and the remote works flawlessly.

Everyone should own one!! The nice thing is that we don't even use the TV remote, except for the timer. This remote powers on/off the tv, has voice input ,mute and volume up/down. Maybe a sleep timer in settings? We own 4 of these and migrated away from the Fire Stik due to the Spectrum streaming app, which is NOT available on the Fire Stik. Set up is easy enough, just follow the prompts on the TV after you plug it in. Here's the new kicker....ROKU and SPECTRUM are in negotiations and if you are new to ROKU, you will not be able to download the Spectrum app. It's not even available. You can get individual stations like the Fire Stik, FOX,CNN,etc just log in many times with your cable TV sign in info. Now...if you already have a ROKU account and have the Spectrum app downloaded on other TV's, when I set up my last ROKU and signed in, all of my apps transferred over so my Spectrum app was there! Otherwise, you need to keep an eye out for it and grab it just in case. Who knew this could happen? So, you can get separate apps for each station but it does take up space. Netflix and Prime are available for a monthly subscription, or get your kids sign on info...and share. If you don't want to pay for anything other than internet, there is free live tv, such as Pluto and Roku channel so depending upon your needs and wants, you don't need cable. I'd buy again. Pre Christmas is when they were on sale!

Easy to set up. You can plug the HDMI end into your TV and the other end with the adapter into the USB port on your TV for power. An optional AC plug is included, but you won't need it if your TV can supply power through the USB port. The included batteries for the remote did not last long. Not a problem since the batteries were probably old. The remote takes 2 AAA batteries.

This was very easy to set up. I really like the interface. Smooth and clean. Never had a Roku or even a streaming stick that had a remote controlled UI and this is a good one. I especially like that the Roku player has a DLNA player built in. This is the main reason I got it and it is solid! The one thing that Google does not have that I really need from my streaming hardware.

We've been using Roku since it's inception. We are upgrading some old units to this stick because the remote controls the TV power and volume, and the stick is easier to install for wireless mounted TVs.

This new stick is fast. I have some older models and they are slow and have waiting time to load. Not this one. There is little to no wait time when loading and navigating menus. I do not have dvr so we use the roku to load all the channel apps and watch our favorite shows when we want. The kids love it for watching cartoons. Netflix and amazon also work great.

I love this roku! I don't watch a lot of TV so paying for 200+ cable channels was idiotic of me. I had the first Roku device that came out and I didn't really care for it. Some because I didn't take the time to figure it out but they've also improved tremendously! I do have Netflix and having the button to just click right on without scrolling is convenient. There are a few other buttons like this too. There's a ton on options for channels you can download from the Roku 'store'. Most are free or a couple dollars at most. Spectrum is available which you can subscribe to for I believe it's like $14 for 60 channels including the kids channels like nickelodeon, nick jr,Disney etc. It has the option of screen mirroring so if you have an app like Pluto tv or something you could download it to your tablet or whatever device you use and cast it on your Roku/TV. Theres a microphone button so if you're really lazy you can just speak into the remote and tell it to change the channel. And the price can't be beat!!-

Having a 65" LG TV I was frustrated not having the HBO Max app for the LG Store so my alternative was to use my phone and screen mirror it with my TV. Except that when you do that, the best quality that's broadcast on your TV is the best resolution that your phone can handle, so the quality didn't look great on my tv. That's when I decided to go with the Roku Stream Stick+. Not only it's compact, it also contains all the modern streaming apps you might need : Netflix / Hulu / Disney+ / Starz / HBO Max / Apple Tv / Crunchyroll. The cherry on the top was the Espn app that allows you to put your Espn+ credentials and order the UFC PPV to watch the fights. Another thing I liked is the fact that is you don't want to plug the Stick into a power outlet, you can just use one of your tv USB port and like that the Stick gets its power from the TV itself. Last but not least, the 4K capabilities of the device make it worth, you get a compact, cheap device with all the streaming apps and with the 4K !

I am so pleased with this Roku stick. I have a great last year of production Panasonic plasma that has an incredible picture so I will keep it until it dies. So I was In need of a streaming device , it works great for Apple TV plus and all the other streaming channels. And an added feaa as tire is that you can take it to other rooms or destinations.

I have really enjoyed my new Roku Streaming Stick+! It was easy to set up and seems much faster than the Roku Express I was using. I like having volume controls on the side of the remote and having a power button for the television. The only thing I would change is the location of the mute button on the right side of the remote - I keep accidentally bumping it.

This HDMI Roku stick makes any dumb TV smart! The Roku platform is so easy to use and it rarely freezes up or encounters any issues. I actually use one of these to bypass the standard Android operating system on my Sony Bravia TV. Highly recommended! Having the access to so many free apps is worth the price itself. The Roku remote is easy to pair with any TV set that has an HDMI in port.

Roku is very versatile with excellent interface and plenty of options. That the stick inserts directly into HDMI port reduces need for an extra cable. It is worth getting the upgraded remote that comes with this for the ability to change the volume and turn on/off the TV directly as well as the voice search. It is also much faster than the original streaming stick I purchased years ago.

Going from the original Roku stick to this is like night and day. The interface is snappy and performance is great. This supports HDR at 4k so its a great add on to a recently purchased 4k TV.

It works well. It is great that it is radio signal based and not line of sight based. The remote does not have to be aimed at the receiver. I have three other Roku units that are all the older Roku Express and when I tried a free trial of HBO Max it would not work on any of them, but it does work on the Streaming stick+. The Streaming Stick+ connects to my 5G router channel while the Roku Express units only connect to my 2.4G router channel. I think that that makes for a better viewing experience. The TV controls of power on/off, volume up/down, and mute that are built into the remote are really handy. Only one remote is needed instead of two. The streaming stick can be powered by a USB port on the TV and that allowed me to eliminate the separate power wire that must go to a 115VAC receptacle on the wall that is required for the Express units. I'm considering updating all of my units to streaming sticks. The voice remote works, but I never use it because I find it to be more reliable to push the buttons on the remote because the results from a voice command are not exactly predictable. It works, but one must practice different voice commands to achieve a desired outcome.

I upgraded from an old fire stick and I have to say Roku is so much better less ads and the interface is so much simpler. The stick is fast and works flawlessly with all the apps I need. You can control the TV with one remote which I love. This is 100% worth the price I love it and I would recommend roku over fire tv,apple tv, chromecast,etc. Very happy with my purchase

I heard about the Roku, but thought it was all hype until I purchased one, and now I kick myself for not having done this sooner. It is amazing, I just plug it in and all the services I subscribe to are available in seconds. Light weight and small which makes it easy to transport. And very affordable compared to other devices. I actually bought 2, one to keep at home, and the other to take on trips. Highly recommend this product!

We love Roku!! I had no idea it would work so well and the channels are amazing, more to watch than our cable! We watch live tv plus enjoy free movies. The remote is great and it’s so easy to use plus setup was simple for this “oldster”. Should have done this a long time ago!! Cable is just too expensive for us.

We’ve used every streaming device and have to say this is one of the easiest streaming devices to use. The interface is very easy to learn and use. I love the dedicated Roku channel that shows what’s free to watch. The themes and wallpapers are fun to use. While some streaming devices run out of memory and slow down, this has not. It’s nice that the remote can also control your TV power and volume. There are also so many different streaming channels you could download, many that are free to use. I would definitely recommend.

Roku is one of the easiest items to use when streaming media like Netflix or Disney Plus. Was having a hard time getting my older Samsung to find the apps with the newer streaming services. Bought a Roku and it had all of them easily accessible and the 4k picture looks great. Having the volume option on the side of the remote is a great idea and makes usage even easier.

This is my 4th Roku streaming box/stick and, yes, all of my others are still working fine. Roku has done a great job of integrating their operating system into Hulu, Netflix, etc. Set up was a snap the picture quality is super. I say that as a former Direct TV and Cable customer. I had my doubts when I bought my first Roku but now I am a Roku fan.
