We jumped on the streaming train in fall 2019 and could not be happier to be away from cable. Voice control opens apps well but it does have problems with multiple commands, like open Youtube TV to NBC. The interface is very clean and simple. Works so well. And it's easy to travel with it. Just went to the beach and took our local channels and all our streaming with us!

Looking for ways to maximize entertainment while containing costs as much as possible. Roku Streaming Stick is super easy to install and get to great viewing selection in no time at all. Best part...the picture is superb! Super simple remote with voice command technology...a great buy!

In my opinion and many other online opinion the ROKU media players are just the best. I have Fire-Stick and Chrome-Cast and think they are both very good at what they do. But when it comes to just pure performance and features the ROKU is just on another level. First, Chrome-Cast is great because you can just cast anything from a mobile device onto your TV (ROKU also has this feature). Fire-Stick has tons of content from Amazon which is great (ROKU has an app for Amazon Prime Video) which in my opinion work better on ROKU than on Fire-Stick. Plus ROKU also has just an amazing amount of apps you can download that Fire-Stick does not have available or simply won't let you download so that you have to stick to mostly Amazon content. Plus it is just a simple interface that works great and is full of features and content. It is the best media streamer out there hands down.

I was looking to add a Roku player to my new HD tv. This unit was small an split=urged right into the HDMI port. Works fine from across the room (25’). All the same ROKU apps are available. Clear sound, great picture quality and streaming. Even use your voice to select the apps. Turns my TV on/off. Has a dedicated side MUTE button on the remote. Great for phone calls.

Bought this over Apple TV and I’m glad I did. Absolutely no lag issues with the Roku Stick and I love that I can take with me when I travel with no considerations needed for space and/or if my hotel will have a HDMI input in tv (not even in rural areas). Saving $100 on this product vs the other is a no brained for me. I’ve already bought a 2nd one so I don’t have to move them around when I am at home.

This Streaming Stick is so worth the price! I picked this one because of its extra reach from the wireless network. The remote is very easy to use and the app also lets you use your phone as a remote. Lots of available choices of things to watch and/or listen to, many of them free. Way better than paying a high cable bill!

We recently left DirecTv after many years, and many cost increases! We are now using our local internet provider for our TV viewing; all of our sets are smart, but our Sony sets require the use of a streaming stick. After reviewing the options out there, it became clear to me that Roku was the best option. I went with the 4K stick, so I would have the latest tech, and it was only a few additional dollars. The set up was pretty easy; make sure that you go online to set up your account in advance of attaching the sticks, and you should be good to go! I have been watching some 4K content, and it really looks great!

I stream everything and was an Amazon Fire TV user. When I watched live TV, I did so through the PlayStation Vue app. However, when I found out that the service was ending, I needed another way to watch live TV. I do pay for a very small Comcast cable service just to get cheaper internet so I was trying to find a way to use that and download each of the major TV station apps to view with my Amazon Fire (ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS), no cable box fees needed. I could watch some of those live, but not all of them (I'm looking at you CBS). Being a football fan, that was not going to do. So I found out Comcast has an app to stream live TV if you have that service purchased but it didn't work on Amazon. I decided to try the Roku since this did work with that specific Comcast app and I've been really happy with the switch since. The remote is very easy to use and the user interface is simple as well. I really like that the remote has 4 buttons to reach common apps quicker (mine has Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and Sling) but I do wish I could change the quick buttons as I don't have Sling and could change it to something else. I've liked the Roku so much that I plan on replacing it on the other two TV's in the house that are still using the Fire TV.

If you are a road warrior, this Roku Stick is just for you! Once programmed with your apps, you can take it with you and use it on any TV with an HDMI input. Speed switching from app to app is very good, and the included remote can be set to control your TV too - making at-home use very simple. This device is absolutely a win-win!

We finally are taking the steps to "Cut the Cable" with our expensive cable TV service. This Roku Streaming Stick+ delivers a quality picture and is easy to set up. The profile feature works well and makes the Stick very easy to use, which was my wife's concern in leaving our Cable TV service. She only has to use the Roku remote to turn on the TV and select her profile. It takes her straight to her favorite channels and it is easy to add other channels as needed. It is very easy to add/select other subscription apps, (e.g., fuboTV, Amazon Prime, Vudu, etc.). I recommend purchasing the apps separately and then adding to your Roku line-up for ease of app set-up and billing management. I like the ear buds that came with the stick because I do not have to turn the TV up as much to understand the voices. Also a grea`t option for watching after others are in bed.

I am a subscriber to Apple+ TV. This device allows me, with ease, to switch from TV to my Apple+, Hulu, Netflix and more. It is voice activated and easy to set up for use. Wish I had bought one last year. Makes switching from regular TV to streaming TV fast and efficiency.

Roku has been our goto for as long as they've been around and this unit is keeps us loyal. I especially love that this one does not require line of sight to use the remote, so it doesn't matter where the remote is aimed. The streaming if flawless and picture is fantastic. Highly recommended!!!

This is the best steamer, it’s simple to use and the pic quality seems better than my tv smart hub. Tons of apps, even free local tv in certain cities with locast app in roku. This is my second one and probably best device for cord cutting. Best Buy has several types of roku but all are really affordable but this one is best for 4K stuff.

This is my second Roku product. Purchased my first. an Ultra. a few years back. This one works equally well and can process voice commands and 4K to boot. Offers a plethora of channels including the Spectrum app which allows Spectrum TV subscribers to view the channels in their package and can save the monthly cost of additional equipment rental. Recommended.

This was purchased for our spare bedroom TV. Setup was very easy, picture is great. I loaded all the apps that we use including the Spectrum app and you wouldn't know that you aren't using a cable box. Also the ability to use the remote to turn the TV on and off is a plus.

If there's a better streamer for the price point out there, I'd be shocked. The Fire Stick is definitely nice, but the Roku interface is so easy to use. Setup is a breeze. Picture quality is excellent. Wifi performance is very strong. There's a bit of Atmos content available. Zero complaints. Actually got two for our other TV I like it so much.

Love the Roku....easy way to watch all the TV you want without all of the high cable/satellite fees. Easy to install and pretty easy to use. It is a little of a pain to go back out to the home screen to find apps, The voice feature on some of our remotes (not sure why not all of them have it) is awesome. Every once in a while I do have trouble connecting or getting the remote to control the TV, but I'm not sure why. We do have to replace the batteries in the remote every 3-6 months.

Love Roku, but I have noticed the battery wastes so fast, other than that, it's very accessible, easy to use and connect.
