Everything about this device, aside from reliability, is awesome. Problem is, it constantly forgets about its Bluetooth pairing and needs to be reset. This means you frequently "lose" your day's progress, and the fun game that motivated you to walk won't get any credit. Huge bummer, and major headache. Their tech support team is responsive, and part of the problem is likely an iPhone thing. But nevertheless, you'll feel like a beta tester. Oh yeah - also, the battery life is awful. It *must* be charged every night, or it will be dead in the morning. Forget about multi-day charge, that does not work as advertised. Even having said all of this, I still recommend the device. It's such a nice pedometer, and the game is such a great motivator, it is without peers. Hopefully they will iron out the kinks (which do seem to be improving as they send software updates).

Sadly this was my third purchase of the same product. Had the it not been for the "myland" portion of the free app available, and the amount of work my wife put into her little world, I would have chosen a new brand to support. The only reason I keep taking the punishment has been the customer service from Striiv as a company. Every time I submit a problem ticket I have been helped in a timely and fulfilling way. On several occasions my Play was replaced or serviced and they even pay for all the shipping there and back. They send you a replacement unit and a box and postage prepaid envelope to return your damaged unit. Some issues I've had are non responsive buttons, the screen stops illuminating and one lost Bluetooth programming and no longer connected to the app after a forced update. Striiv has several others products and this one seems to be getting phased out. Don't count them out based on my review! They are a great company and I'd love to see them make it in this over saturated fitness market.

If you have a phone capable of running the app & linking via bluetooth, it's a nice little support system. The initial setup can be a bit wonky & require a prolonged charge with a reset prior to it being able to work correctly. Not the most feature rich out there, but not the most lacking either. Just kind of overall meh

They continue to update software. as of now... Still not pairing to get data onto iphone. I have been in touch with them. a new update is coming this weekend. We will see.

It motivates me to keep walking. It keeps track of your steps and it can connect with My Fitness Pal. It works with an app on the IPhone. Although I am not normally a game player, the game does encourage you to walk more to earn energy points and coins to play the game. I understand they are adding additional games in an upcoming upgrade. They read the feedback and continually try to fix any concerns.

Gave this as a gift and we didn't take a lot of time to look at it; however initially we couldn't get it to charge. Looking into it a little more before giving a final review.

It is really nice and easy to wear and counts the steps correctly. Happy to have it and will recommend to friends.

Diificult to set to measure distance accurately. Calories burned makes no sense. Registers more flights of stairs than actually climbed by a factor of 10. Striiv customer service is unresponsive to requests for guidance.

I tried the original Striiv at $39.95 but bought 3 and none of them worked. I then tried the $59 version as a last resort and it worked. It tracks steps, stairs, minutes, calories and distance which connects via bluetooth to my iPhone. The Striiv has an app which tracks everything, and also had a side game which you progress in by earning points and energy through exercise. The app also reminds you to get up and walk if you've been inactive for a while, and gives you a choice of challenges, which I love. It's also small and light.

Tried it for 3 weeks! Never counted a step, as far as I could tell. Pretty sure it was on, even though the display was white - not blue like the papers that came with it say.

I've only gotten to use my unit on a limited basis, as it seems as if my unit was defective and had a faulty battery. But in the time I've used it, I felt comfortable that it was tracking my steps properly and working to help me maintain my fitness goals. I like how it would integrate with my iPhone, to keep a history. I've worked with their customer service (which could use some work - it's online only - no phone number and a bit slow to respond)on replacing the unit, so I hope to be back up & walking soon.

This is an amazing pedometer for the price. I was reluctant about purchasing it because it clips on rather than wearing it as a bracelet. However, I attach it to my bra strap and it stays securely attached. I love the game app I downloaded as it motivates me to set goals and work on achieving them. I had weight loss surgery and exercise became very important. This small device has made a tremendous difference and for the price it's worth having something a wee bit simpler. I would recommend it.

Great little device that is small, lightweight, easy to use and has good battery life

I had to scout around on the striiv website to figure out how to get my Play working (needed thin paper clip poke in the side) then getting it to sync with iPhone (airplane mode on on Play, then off, then on on iPhone, then off, then Play back on ... geez!) But it worked! And I wear it all day. (My husband wore it one day and I'm sure my walking team thought I was running a marathon!) Got a good deal when it was half-price on Best Buy Deal of the Day. Gadget geeks will love it!

This pedometer combined with the app is very easy to use and a lot of fun. It keeps me motivated to keep walking. It's a very basic ped for stairs and taking steps. Only issue I find is sometimes with accepting challenges and completing them, the app "lost" it so you don't earn your credit but the pedometer is still keeping track the whole time so that's all that matters.

I own two of these, one for my wife and one for me. The units accurately track our steps and stair climb and links to our iPad and iPhone. No complaints there. The battery life was very bad until the latest firmware upgrade 1.62, now I easy get 2 to 3 days with one charge. If you are looking at an easy to use pedometer that tracks accurately and uploads to your iPhone or iPad, then this is it. If you like playing a game by yourself or with someone else as you exercise, then this fits the bill. I don't play the game, but it looks to be well done and entertaining.

The Striiv is my back-up pedometer. It's small, reliable and easy to read.

The digital read out and messages inspire me to move more. I do not use the avatar or game challenges. Battery life seems short.
