This is a Great little tripod, If you spend about 5 minutes fixing it. The black housing at the top of the legs does not allow the legs to open wide enough to really add stability to the tripod. However, a 5mm hex wrench removes the head from the legs, and you can pop off this black housing. Add a 3mm washer to the top of the head and re-assemble and it allows full leg use and actually looks better i think. If you buy it - mod it, or dont bother! Itll be too top heavy to be worth its value.

I was taking a trip to Colombia, and saw this tripod the day before. What a handy purchase it is incredibly small and can easily fit in a back pack ) I had mine in as shoulder bag) on several occasions the group I was with wanted to take a group shot I was able to set this up in seconds and use our cell phones to take pictures ( an additional piece is needed to hole the phone or device). Then I was also Able to use it as a selfie stick for the price point it was a great product !

The super compact size and flexibility of the legs attracted me to this product. Was cheap enough, but don't waste your money. Sunpak should build something more durable. the tripod head is a piece of cheap plastic that of course breaks with usage (we didn't use this more than 30? times with a GOPRO (not a heavy camera). It might have been dropped or ??. anyhow you can see how useless it is now. Hopefully I can dismantle some of this and recycle it. But the metal and plastic combination may make that difficult. replaceable parts ? yeah that would be nice. but at this price point, surely that does not exist. It isn't the fastest setup, either due to the legs. I have a zipshot by Tamarac that I can still actually use. That said, it only goes to one height, but is portable enough.

Decent tripod for holding mobile phones, it surprisingly held my EOS T3i with a 50mm lens so it can handle a little weight but I wouldn't use this for much more than phones for photo/video or web-conferencing.

Great Tripod for the sunrise, sunset and night time shots. Worked great and was easily transported. Well worth the money!

The product works fine. It fits perfect to my camera and it rotates 360 degrees and also, up and down.Best purchase I have made.

It’s not the best more so okay. Wobbles a little bit but does its job.

It's garbage. Legs are spaghetti, has a real weird locking mechanism. Canon T7 snapped the pivot. This thing should never have left the drawing board. Complete waste of money.

It is handy and light. Sometime, it is difficult to fold up.

Awesome camera stand, great for filming videos or taking pictures

Use this to mount a wyze cam. It works well, and didn't break the bank! Would be a great choice for any lightweight cam. Photo os from cam mounted on tripod. Holds it steady.

With this stable tripod, I am able to get perfect 360 degree pictures, take 30 second exposures of stars at night. This is the tripod I keep home for local photographs.

You won't be purchasing this because it's as stable as a Manfroto. It's not. But it is a delightfully light-weight, small, portable tripod that fits nicely in a small backpack, daypack, or even larger fanny pack. The legs do extend to the height specified, but it's a bit tippy and unstable. I bought it for a cheap table top tripod where I don't need to extend the legs. For that purpose, I find it perfect!

I needed a tripod to use with an iPhone to film high school sports events. We never know where we'll be sitting or standing so we needed something flexible. This does that really well. It's also great that when folded, it's very small and easy to carry. Although we don't use it that way, the small folded size would make it pretty good for tabletop settings as well. The only drawbacks are that the way the legs retract is a little finicky with this twist-and-unlock mechanism. It works but never feels quite simple enough. Also, because it's so light (great when tossing it in a bag), it also sometimes feels it's going to fall over (nerve wracking when it's cradling a $1000 phone). All that said, it works so no real complaints.

It's a nice tripod for a lighter camera. For this price, the quality is there. If you're attaching a bigger DSLR camera, it gets too top heavy, so you'll have to rig it up in some way.

First, this is NOT a great tripod. Yes, it is downright awful. However, given its size and its price, it is the ONLY option in its class. Yes, this tripod is under one pound, and it even almost fits in a front pants pocket. The best part is that you can take it home for under a Jackson! This is great for setting the self-timer on your camera and taking a selfie. It is also adequate for a long exposure, if you are careful, maybe. However, this thing is wobbly -- fairly wobbly. It does not go very high (barely chest-high on me), and I used it for a small mirrorless camera. If you use a full-sized SLR, well, this may not be adequate. There is a simple hinge that will go between portrait and landscape mode. That is it -- a 90 degree rotation. No fine adjustments for irregular terrain, except to flex the legs. This thing was also inadequate to take a panoramic shot, because the panning was not smooth, and the up-and-down jitter was too extreme. I also tried taking some nighttime long exposures (up to a minute) and there was some shaking due to the stiff wind at the time. So, to summarize, if you want a better tripod meant for travel, it will still be bigger and cost a LOT more. There are some nice carbon-fiber ones for about eight or ten times the price, and those might be good options, but they are also longer. However, I am still keeping this. If I am hiking up the side of a mountain, this one is small and light enough that I won't mind carrying it too much, despite its flaws.

This tripod is small, but the legs extend almost to the size of my normal tripod, which surprised me. It is a little rickety, but functional and does what I needed it to do. I don't think I would use it with a heavier camera, however. If you need an easily transported tripod to use with a lightweight camera, this is a good one.

Compact and lightweight tripod, that's very easy to pack. The legs just twist to extend out. Each leg is independent, so you don't have to be on level ground to use. The feet could be a little wider, but you can still stabilize the tripod on uneven surfaces, just takes a bit longer. Overall a good first tripod or hiking tripod.

It's not a higher end Manfrotto so its controls aren't as smooth. But if you're looking to shoot video or still photos from a static point, it's a lightweight, easy to transport, functional tripod. And at this price, it's a good choice.
