Great for nature shots but not steady in my hands at the max 42X zoom. This little mono-pod steadied the camera right up. Easy to open and close the extender latches. The 67" extended length puts the mounted camera a full 4" above my eyes. The only fault with this mono-pod (and any other mono-pod) is the inability to use the camera in the vertical plane instead of always horizontal. The retractable leg spike was good this winter on icy surfaces.

A Prefect Stick

Good for what it is

It is a good value if you don't need heavy duty.
