This product comes in handy while recording our kids games. It's lightweight and easy to use. The only negative is you have to either hold it or find a place to lay it down. It doesn't stand on it's own (obviously).

Most monopods are too short to be used while standing up. This one serves quite well.

Good product for the price (paid $20 with discount) Though materials seem of lesser quality monopod has held up to heavy use. I especially like the secure locking mechanisms for the leg.

The Sunpak monopod is really easy to use and takes a lot of tension away from your back during long shoots. I shoot weddings so sometimes a tripod is too much to deal with during a ceremony. If we have to move around during the wedding the monopod is easy to reposition while still having a somewhat steady shot.
