A very nice monopod

I used it several times during a recent vacation. It did help offset the weight of the lens, but it wasn't particularly helpful in holding the camera steady when I was taking pictures at full zoom. For this application a tripod is indispensable. This monopod is not intended to make a tripod unnecessary.
