Doubtful of the weight capacity

I'm using a Sony a6000 with Sigma 100-400 lens which weight approximately 3.5 lbs combined, and the monopod is bending to the extent that I was worried about using it. Not sure if I got a bad piece or the specification is not accurate, but please be careful using your expensive equipment on this.
