This is a great product for the money. We use with Canont7i and it works great.

Totally does the trick while recording school functions. Less camera shake now.

I was very disappointed with this particular purchase. Actually, I've been very disappointed with Best Buy for the last couple of years. Back in the day, Best Buy was a great place to shop. Now, I realize that there's a lot more competition these days, due to online sales. That being said, such a large drop in service and quality levels is ridiculous! Anyway, back to the subject at hand. The product I purchased was supposed to be a new product. When I got it home and opened it, the plastic wrapper inside had been previously ripped open and the product was scratched up and dented. Most likely, someone had previously purchased it and returned it. I really hope you guys get your act together and return to your former glory, but I'm not going to hold my breath. This is work as well as any of the heavy duty monopods.

I bought this to use as a GoPro extension pole based on a conversation with a Best Buy Employee. However, when I got home realized I needed another part to make it work AND that I would have to use it upside down without the wrist strap. Would work great as a stationary monopod, but that was not my intent.

Nice monopod. The locking clips hold very well. Get it if you need one.

The only reason this did not get 5 stars, in my opinion, is because the latches to extend the leg are rather hard to undo. A couple of them actually stick, and I have to wiggle them for it to release.
