I really had no idea what to expect with this game. Mostly I was expecting a Saints Row type crazy action game that takes place in a city, that's half correct. This game is mainly action with some quests and collection type missions to accomplish. The biggest feature of the game that makes it unique is the necessity to keep combos going, if you stand still you will die, a lot. Overall it's a pretty fun and frantic gaming experience. I enjoyed it a lot, but I can understand if it's not for everyone.

The guns in this game are original and completely insane. I have to find additional time to get further, but so far, my favorite is the mechanical dog. I am hoping I could somehow acquire that weapon as it is my absolute favorite, SO FAR.

My youngest bought this with his own money. He has been wanting it since right after Christmas, but he didn't want to spend that much money on it. With best buy's price matching we were able to get it in his price range. He loves it.

This is a fun game. I am tired of all the first person shooter games. This game is perfect relief from that. Fast action and pretty funny as well.

The graphics and humor are the selling point for this game. It's very fast-paced so may be a little too challenging for younger children.

I am sure you have read the many reviews the question is...is it as good as they read? It takes awhile to really develop to the core gameplay. If you do not enjoy it right away stick with it for a few missions. It becomes more fun as new weapons and skills open up. I would describe it as a Dead Rising cartoon like premise. Even though I enjoyed it I will be trading it in early while the value is still high. I would recommend it to friends that I know would enjoy this style of gameplay. It is not for everyone in my opinion.

Sunset Overdrive is an overcharged 3rd person on rails shoot fest. As the player you are constantly building up your combo meter by bouncing, grinding and jumping on obstacles in the open world which makes your weapons more devastating. The game does not take itself seriously at all and is hilarious to play. Fun pop culture references throughout. This game is like Tony Hawk + Crackdown + Saints Row all mashed together and is super fun to play. I recommend this as a game to be played for fun and is the best Xbox One exclusive so far!

Casual game with fun game play. Insomniac delivers once again with over a dozen wacky unique weapons. Great writing is also a plus.

Love the graphics/art style and story is quite humorous. A lot of fun to play once you get the hang of the controls. Highly recommend!

Sunset Overdrive is surprisingly fun to play - fast paced, tongue-in-cheek story line, and ridiculous but funny missions to complete.

Really fun, but this is only a single player game. There is no free play unless you decide not to do the levels. If you decide to do the levels, they are pretty fun.

This game is very good. Great if your craving some ridiculous action. Graffics are off the charts and the weapons are ridiculous.

Enjoying this game so far. Graphics look nice and controls are tight. Nice to play something a little different once in a while.

Honestly, this is one of the stronger titles out for the XBox One at the moment. It's lighthearted and enjoyable, and the gameplay is engaging. Just don't let your kids play it, or at least disable the profanity.

Good showcase for the xbox one. First impression is that is not like anything else. It has game play of several other games but not like this. Most importantly it's fun, fun, fun. The game world is large and can be traveled any where at anytime. A lot of missions and challenges with a fun but some times repetitive game play, but what game does not get like that when it's this big. Online is very chaotic and a blast, can be overwhelming as there will be so much to do at times. I have yet to tire of the game.

This is one of the few games i bought without looking into game-play or reviews not knowing what to expect... The over the top design and action of this game makes it a hidden gem. the game is very colorful, vibrant, yet doesn't have the most realistic detail but makes up for in style. The constant action and fast pace makes this game very easy to lose track of your time. Sunset Overdrive delivers on entertainment but lacks a replay value once you finish.

There are many games that are made for Sony and Microsoft's next gen machine, causing the real focus to be on the console exclusives. I present to you the xbox one exclusive Sunset Overdrive! High production values mean shiny graphics and ultra smooth gameplay. Everything is top notch and one of the most interesting games available to play on next gen machines. Buy this and experience the madness that is Sunset Overdrive. A worthy addition to anybody's xbox one collection!

By far one of the best 2014 Xbox Exclusive Titles. Sunset was an amazing well put game with it's comic mischief, cartoonish art style, deranged enemies, it's balance shooting, and grinding parkouring mechanics.

Cool story. Game heavily based on the grinding/line riding but once your used to it really fun and different
