Definitely one of the best games available on Xbox One and one of my favorite games I've ever played. Action packed with a lot of humor. Really hope for a sequel.

It's a fun game with lax reality. Leaping off a building you don't end up in the ER. It's a zombie game. I'm an avid collector of zombie titles. I think it's got a Tony Hawk - Dead Rising feel to it. You can fiddle around in the city sliding around on the rails and pretty much everything else. The weapons are cool and it has multiplayer. For the price it is now it's a good time to pick it up if you didn't. I'm burnt out on RPGs and FPSs. This is a 3rd person Zombie arcade style game. Oh and there is a story.

Lots of fun for me, gameplay kind of like Jet Set Radio which I enjoyed in the past but with interesting weapons and more jumping.

I have to start out by saying, that at the initial reveal of this game, I wasn't really interested. It looked okay, but just wasn't sure what it was about. As more and more was revealed, I started to become really interested, with people saying it was like playing a shooter version of Tony Hawk. Once reviews rolled in, I decided I had to pick it up and try it out. This game is phenomenal, and a definite throwback to older style games in that it's all about fun. Bright colors, huge world, exaggerated movements and controls. It's a complete blast. While I understand people tying it in with Tony Hawk, it reminds me of a much more fast paced Crackdown, with tremendously better humor. Speaking of humor, this is one of the only games that I really don't mind dying in. Not only does it not really reset anything you're currently doing, but you often come back alive in some extremely funny ways, such as walking out from a gravestone or crashing in a rocket. The game heavily encourages trying out different things, and never really punishes you for dying, so it keeps it pretty lighthearted and fun, in a way I didn't even know I was missing on Xbox. Definitely a must buy for all Xbox owners!

This game is ridiculous in the best way. Lots of action, lots of speed, lots of silly humor. Great fun!

Sunset Overdrive is a mashup of the old Tony Hawk games, Jet Set Radio, Ratchet & Clank's weapons arsenal and a (very loose) shooter. Traversal rules in this game, and without grinding or wallrunning or bouncing you'll be dead very quickly. But traversal is also incredibly, incredibly fun and well-implemented. Meanwhile the shooting is loose and extremely forgiving - but still enjoyable because of the variety of zany and bizarre weapons. Some have criticized this game's sense of humor (fourth-wall-breaking, etc.), and I suppose that's to taste. I came into Sunset Overdrive expecting to find it grating and annoying. Instead I was pleasantly surprised. All in all, a solid XB1 exclusive. Recommended.

Picked this up as part of the bundle a couple months ago - put about 30 hours into it (and really enjoyed it). Lots of repetitive missions though, that seem to be included only to drag the length out. Lots of unlockables but overall a lot of fun. Starts to get a bit stale towards the end (due to repetition) but still had fun with it. Picked up the DLC which added a few more new items to it.

Wasn't really a fan for fiction sandbox games like crackdown or prototype so getting this game made me think. But I got it and man.. This game changed my view of those other games. It sets you off doing all these jumps and I easily learn the controls and shooting. This game likes to break the 4-wall with characters referring to the player like pulling down the screen and mentioning other games. This game would be the best xbox one game released this year in the goty awards if it were my decision. In short, this game is fun, colorful, and way interesting. Get it!

The world of Sunset Overdrive is really well created, with a lot of attention to detail. It is clear this had to be an Xbox One exclusive because of all the graphics and mechanics, it would have been too much for any past gaming consoles. The game is hard to explain, but once you get into it you will just be drawn into how much fun it is to kill these soda created monsters.

It's a fun game to play. The guns in the game are crazy.

This game is like no other. It does have graphic language so its not for the young kids. Its fast paced and crazy fun. People say its not a long game but that didn't bother me. I like to reach the point of completion sooner than later. I will be buying the DLC to continue the fun.

I've always been a fan of Insomniac, the developer of Sunset Overdrive. This game is continues their pedigree of crazy weapons based action and wonderfully colorful worlds. Easily the prettiest Xbox One game available at the time of this review.

Very fun game when you might not have a lot of time to play. Hilarious dialogue. Visually stunning. Wouldn't pay $60 for it, but if you can get a good deal, definitely but it. Not the longest campaign, but nonetheless entertaining.

This game is the reason I bought the Xbox one and it was well worth it. The game is pretty awesome. Beat it a few weeks ago but still bust it out and play it because the graphics are totally amazing. Really fun game and entertaining.

I love sunset overdrive. It has vibrant colored graphics and a nice game to look at. It kept me glued to the screen of my tv for hours upon hours. It is very entertaining and a comical game that makes you laugh and have fun.

It's been a LONG time since a new IP has been released. These days everything is rehash of older stuff so to say this game was a breath of fresh air is an understatement. The gunplay, combat, graphics and action are extremely satisfying and the traversal is excellent. The inclusion of this type of traversal in addition to solid gunplay made combat impressively satisfying and extremely fun. There is no other shooter like this on the market. If you have an XB1, you have to try this game. You won't be sorry.

I was not sure how this game will be as the promos look kinda sucky. Tried it for a day when it was free for XBOX LIVE MEMBERS. The game blew my mind. Its really really awesome, end up buying the game next evening.

This game is all sorts of awesome. The story line is fun, and the game play is also enjoyable. Literally a mash up of Crazy Taxi and Tony Hawk, and add some weird guns and zombies.

I am enjoying this game. Some of the reviews indicate the game is repetitive. I can't disagree, but it is not tedious. It is a visually pleasing game and a well written game.

This game is really colorful, fun and unique. It reminds me of a shooter meets jet set radio, but they pull it off really well. I think just about anyone would like this game.
