Love Mario games & this is a fun one! The only con I would give it is that when I was a kid and couldn't pass a level, I would just have to keep playing that level until I mastered it enough to pass it. In these levels, if you can't pass it after so many times, it "gives up on you" and will give you an invisibility feather so u can pass the level. That just seems lame...

I had to decide between Mario 3D World and Party 10 and I think I did it great!. I decided to buy 3D as I read a lot of bad review about Party 10 and I think I made the right selection. 3D World is great, I like how the linear story can become 3D without decreasing the interesting old Mario school. I recommend it 100%, my little son and daughter love it too.

This is an incredibly fun 4 player, family friendly game. Players of all ages can enjoy this and the fact that it supports all controller types makes it even better. It's light-hearted fun that's still challenging and is a game that maintains it's fun factor. Each character is unique and there's enough depth and diversity to give it replayability.

The BEST game to involve family members. My wife is NOT a gamer. This game has made her one. She loves it! The cute peach kitty is her favorite character. Props to nintendo for putting together such a polished and PACKED game. After beating it, there's still 4 bonus worlds to play! Tons of content. Well worth your money.

The game is easy to setup and more than one player can play at the same time by using the gamepad or the controller. Levels are easy but when trying to achieve all three gold stars it's hard to do in one life.

As most reviews have mentioned this game is gold stars. I agree with this for the most part. I enjoyed the game from start to finish and being a completest i enjoyed the replay of looking for every last star. However coming from a gamer perspective and someone who loves platformers. This game lacked in the challenge department, I found myself go from world to world waiting for the challenge to pick up and it never did. I was wanting some of the challenges I felt from the old days of Super mario 64. While this will not be true for every one it was for a seasoned gamer who enjoyed the brutal difficulty of Rayman Origins, super meat boy, or the Mega man games of old. Some of the annoying things in this game was forcing me to blow on the mic to move platforms. While this is a creative use of the gamepad mic, I got tired of it very quick and eventually despised it and wished I could have had the option to press a button OR blow into the mic. I am glad this was removed from some newer games such as Donkey Kong Country - Tropical Freeze. Over all though this game is awesome. It was allot of fun to play with friends. There were some minor issues of deaths and falling off the screen when playing with buddies but still fun none the less. The creativity in this game is way up there and the main reason why i still buy Nintendo hardware. If you like platformers get this game, if you need brutal difficulty maybe rent this first just to test it out and see if it fits. I enjoyed it regardless and will keep the game for when my kids are old enough to play with me.

If you want a different take (Super Mario 64 or Galaxy) on the Mario platforming franchise, this is a great addition. I've been having a lot of fun playing it with several of my friends after we've all started to hate each other because of Mario Kart. This is a really good game to cool off with.

Smooth controls and easy learning curve, fun adventure-style game with stunning graphics. I use pro control for most levels but some minigames can only be done on the screen remote (you actually have to blow on the screen to make things happen - cool!) Fun for the whole family.

Mario is back and its so much fun to play with your friends in this game. You can play together and help each other get through the levels or hinder each other cause at the end you get bonus points for finishing with certain items. Looks great plays well

This game is fantastic. I play it with my 6 year old son and 9 year old nephew and we all have a great time. The gameplay is very forgiving for beginners but still has a lot of challenge available if you're looking for it. The graphics are clean, colorful and vibrant, and the music is always enjoyable without becoming repetitive. The story is the same as always, Bowser is up to no good and Mario and friends have to stop him. The only problem I had with this game is when you are playing with 3 or 4 people it can get quite chaotic onscreen and can be difficult to keep track of your character.

Brings back the classic feel of Super Mario 3 from the NES and brings it to the modern day Wii U. Loved the feeling of "I may of played this before" yet the newness of the game at the same time. A blast by yourself and even more fun with friends!

If somebody wanted to play a Mario game for the first time, this is the game to play. With up to 4 players competing to complete the level together, there is always family fun to be had.

This game is a must have for every Wii U collection. Every level is a fun challenge. Great game for young and old as well! The levels are easy enough to pass through, but challenging if you want to collect all the stars and get 100%.

This is a must-have for any Wii U owner. There are enough twists on the Mario formula to make things interesting while still providing that tried-and-true gameplay that made the series great. Excellent co-op game as well.

What an awesome game from Nintendo which is pure fun with no need of achievements or trophies in order to keep you engaged in this game with vast levels, great graphics and tight controls. 10 out of 10 definitely.

I love Mario games. 3D World is no different. The variety of gameplay is incredible and the many power-ups will leave you with a smile on your face. HD Mario is something that needs to be seen. Highly recommend.

This is easily the most beatiful mario game created since Super Mario Galaxy, yes I love 2D mario games too, but this is the 3D mario game that Wii U needed, the power ups are great and the way the worlds are designed is fantastic, the option of multiplayer on the same screen is just awesome. I'm sure you will have tons of fun with this game, even if you play by yourself. My only complain is that still there is no online for this game, however the integration of ghost miis feature is really good.

This is by far my favorite mario game i've played in a long time. Absolutely love it . Would recommend this to any and all mario fans. You definitely get what you pay for with this game its hours of fun.

Mario is a staple in the video universe. This might just be his best one yet. It doesn't get much better than playing 4 player multiplayer in a 3D Mario game. Do yourself a favor and pick it up today.
