This is an essential title for Wii U owners and possibly a reason to purchase a Wii U if you don't have one already (as this game is of course not available on either of the other two leading consoles). The gaming environment is rich and will provide hours upon hours of family fun (since up to four players can play at the same time). What attention to detail by the game designers/artists that created this game! Mario has certainly come a long way from the Mario Bros. of the 1980's!

It's mario at his best with all new abilities. Plus four player action and some really great visuals and challenges.

This game was great to play through and made great use of the new features of the game pad. If you're just starting out with the Wii U, it can help teach you a bit about the touch screen and built in microphone. Connecting to Miiverse also makes it fun to share experiences or frustrations all while collecting "stamps" to illustrate your thoughts in-game. I loved it so much I couldn't bring myself to play any of my other newly purchased games until I beat it!

Entertaining to adults while still not being to challenging for children. A lot easier to play than expected

I've only recently rediscovered Nintendo. It's been great fun so far and this game will not disappoint!

Game has good 3D graphics. Multiplayer mode is awesome. Got for Christmas and already on the 8th world level.

Mario games are always a lot of fun, this one is one of the few that isn't side scrolling. Makes it unique.

My 5 yr old loves this game. and it seems to be more entertaining an easier to play than the regular Mario.

My 6 year old Grandson asked for this game for Easter. He told me that it is his favorite Mario game now!

Kids love this game after Mario Kart 8 this is probably their second favorite game from the Wii U console.

This is a great game for the family, the challenge is there for the older and more experienced gamer and there are aids that will help out those that need them. Lots of collectables to get along the way, can keep you playing for days.

this is fun, been awhile since nintendo created a better 4 player mario game besides mario kart 8.

Great graphics and gameplay with lots of worlds to explore. The new items also make it more fun.
