Have been a Supernatural fan since the very beginning. The fifth season revolves around the fight to stop Lucifer and save the world from the Apocalypse. Throughout the season, Dean and Sam battle both angels and demons as they fight their destiny to become the vessels of Michael and Lucifer. Unable to defeat Lucifer, they collect the rings of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, which act as the keys to Lucifer's prison. The idea of destiny versus freedom and choice play a big role. Throughout the season, Dean, Sam, Castiel, and Bobby each have a crisis as they near giving up. However, through each other's support, they continue forward until the end. A great season!!! Will not disappoint!!!

Supernatural season 5 was a great wrap up to the 5-year story arc that creator Eric Kripke had in mind. While not the series finale, the season 5 finale outshown other show's series enders by wrapping up the story line fabulously and closing that era of the Winchester's lives but leaving an opening for the season 6 to blossom into another amazing story arc (now airing Friday nights at 9/8c on the CW)! My only possibly complaint has NOTHING to do with Supernatural and instead is in the keychain that came with the DVD set as a special offer via Best Buy. The Impala very quickly broke apart from the tiny connection on the keyring itself because of the flimsy connection point. I would advise others to not use the keychain as a keychain as it is simply not very stable!

I have the whole collection and was waiting with great anticipation for season 5 as watching a seson uninterrupted is the only way to take in the whole story and every year I watch all previous seasons to prepare for the new release. Season 5 wrapped up the storyline that was woven into the series from the beginning and answered almost any question one could think of. I am so glad the series is continuing because they very well could have wrapped it up last year perfect down to the last details which is rare for tv or movies but really glad they didn't. I reccomend everybody watch the show and buy all 5 seasons because its money and time well spent.
