Great camera system and great video quality. However, where I have these camera's positioned. Once you go more than 180 feet the wired connection wont show a video so it only has a certain amount of distance. So be aware of you buy just know I wouldnt go any further than 150 ft in distance .

this is a awesome security system. 4k color with night vision. I get very good video and I am able to get it on my phone via the internet.

I love the clarity, just upgraded from 1080, and the viewing difference is very noticeable. Night vision is good, I can see the people sitting in the cars alot better.

Easy to install and hook up. The cameras are excellent. Lot's of great features. I will be adding two more cameras in the next couple of weeks.

We have bought this security system and in one week we had to exchange two of the four cameras that came in the package. One of the cameras came with a very poor image. You could not see anything clear. The other one started having a black space in the image. You could not see mote than have of the image. Unbelievable. We ended paying $150 extra for this two cameras installation. It's not our fault to receive a bad product and we ended being very affected. Installation itself it's already extra expensive. Swann did not take any responsibility for any of the inconveniences. We are very disappointed.

I installed these cameras with the help of one other person. It was fairly intuitive. The images are vivid during the day and still clear at night. The motion sensors have a very far range. I can’t comment on the heat sensors. I assume it’s working... Also, no issues when it rained. The DVR takes some getting used to, but still fairly user friendly. Maybe this is possible, but I wish I could select which cameras are in view when there are more than four cameras. Right now the cameras are displayed in order, 1-8. I added additional Swann cameras & those are working well. I would also prefer the ability to customize the number of cameras in view. Right now there are preset views. Overall, I am very happy with this 8 channel camera system.

We tried two different Lorex surveillance systems and couldn't get consistent coverage from all four cameras at night. And then this SWANN 5580 system was recommended and it worked perfectly from the minute it was first installed. We are very happy with it.

The camera is easy to install and work great. The recorded video is very clear.

The 4K cameras are great and the dvr gives plenty of room to store historical footage with no monthly charge.

Excellent camera system. A bit complicated and I still don’t understand all of the capabilities but it has great cameras.

Only worked for 2 years. From 2019-2021. Purchased 2 year warranty and they broke 5 months after warranty expired.

This system is just fabulous. I installed the wired cameras and turned up the system without a hitch. Video quality is amazing and being able to review weeks of recorded history is fabulous. The real time video of Wired systems that do not rely on Cloud recording is vastly superior to wireless Cloud based, sloooow cameras.

in the first 3 months 2 camera power supplies failed. within 12 months 3 power supplies failed, 3 camera channels down.
