works great...just what i needed! The HD makes a huge difference! Customer service was spot on and technical support was even more impressive with Swann!

This is my second Swann system. The first one worked great but was lower resolution so I sold my old one and picked up this one. Everything works well on the system itself but the mobile viewing app is laggy on iOS but fine on android and Windows/Mac

i bought this for family and they love it. no more worries who or what is in the yard at night. easy install, zoom feature is great, clear picture and they can watch it anywhere on there phone or ipad.

I feel this is the best setup after cameras are placed,no battries and twice the res. Very easy to setup and get working. Thankyou I feel safer now that I have a camera on recording when I'am away.

Easy to set up works really good, real good picture. Just remember if you need to set a camera more than 50 feet than you will have to buy more cable

The system works well. I didn't want to spend a lot of money for IP cameras, but wanted to be able to view over the internet. This accomplishes that goal. Comes with four cameras, the DVR can handle up to eight. My only complaint is with the cables. They are very cheap and thin. I "broke" two of them when stringing them, and had to go buy additional cables at the hardware store. All in all, I'm very pleased and would recommend this.

The camera is great. SWANN customer service was very helpful. I plan to buy additional add on cameras. I do think the store staff could have been more knowledgeable about the product. The hook up the DVR was very easy.

The cameras give great pictures day & night. However, the directions to use app on smartphones are incomplete or out-dated. I spent 1-1/2 hours on phone with customer service to get set-up to work

This kit works just as described. The images are nice and crisp and make it easy to see what is going on in the day or the night time. At night the distance you can see is reduced but that is expected. The kit comes with everything required to set it up, perfect for some one who has never had a DVR camera system before. Plenty of wire length and all required adapters and cables are included. I would definitely buy this kit again.

Quality of recording is great. Warranty on a new install sucks big time. Had problem with DVR. Purchased on a Thursday and installed over the weekend. Had a problem with the sensors that pick up movement right from the start. The DVR would pick it up some times and not other. Spent hours on the phone over 3 days and still had problems. Swan finally sent me a E-Mail wanting me to send back at my expense so they could repair or replace. I don't think so. Called best buy and they said that due to my purchase was on their credit card and I was a program member I had 12 or 14 days to return to the store. I told them this is not a TV and that I had run and mounted all the cameras. They let me return the DVR only and put the bad one in the box with all the other parts. If you are going to buy do it at Best Buy if you are a program member Time will tell how it works out.

Easy to set up. I like the clarity and depth of field.

So far so good. I like the fact that the cameras are aluminum construction, compared to some other brands with plastic housings. Video is crisp and clear during live view, but choppy during playback from DVR where it counts most. Would expect more clarity from 1080p. Night vision will allow you to see activity but no detail unless something is directly in line of sight of ir lights, also ir light is still reflected by license plates so forget about getting a plate number at night. Zoom is digital not optical so don't expect to make out any detail when zoomed in. Was super easy to set up, app is useful. DVR construction is the thinnest plastic I've ever seen an a device like this, and the cables are about as cheap as possible, a good quality 60' cable should weigh more that twice what these do. All this being said, in this price range, u can't do better, a true professional grade system in 1080 would easily cost twice as much if not more. Paid 350 on sale, if it wards off one criminal one time, it's worth every penny. Gives me a little piece of mind knowing it's there.

Set up was easy for this system and plenty of room for a few more cameras. The "hardest" part was running the cables from the basement to the attic and out to the areas where the cameras were mounted. Very clear picture both day and night. Easy to navigate user interface and a great app to also view while you are away. I highly recommend this system and will be expanding a couple more cameras.

The camera has very good angles and bright and Vivid colors the Night Vision Works excellent, however i would suggest professional installation, as far running your wiring through the walls go.

The picture quality when connected to a tv or monitor is great, but when you are using it on the app it's not that great. Another thing that is disappointing is that you don't get notifications on your phone. You could set up notifications via email but I can't seem to get that to work.
