My new Sylvania portable DVD player has a big 10 inch swivel screen that easily swings to your perfect viewing angles. The sound is great and the picture quality is excellent!

We love it this the second one of this brand we bought. The only thing I don't like is they have different plugins

Product works well. Portability is great as you can transfer from vehicle to vehicle, which you can't do with a built in dvd player. Screen size is also much larger than a typical built in car dvd screen. Swivel screen is a great feature, allows it to be folded up and displayed in tighter spaces. Memory resume of last stopped location on DVD is very nice. Charges fairly quickly and appears to hold a charge well. Runtime on this battery is much longer than a laptop during DVD playback. Only complaint is that the built in speakers are not very loud, meaning you need to be in a quiet location to listen with the built in speakers. So in any location with ambient noise, like a moving vehicle, headphones are required.

Purchased two of these for a road trip for my nephews. They worked great. I thought the volumn could have been a little better but once headphones were used there was no issue. This DVD player has a great picture and fairly easy to operate. My only issue was one of the screens was hard to open and after using a little force to open it the screen became loose. I returned it to the store and exchanged it with no problem.

I bought this for entertainment on a trip. Good battery: holds a charge (a weeks +) plays (5 + hours per charge.) Good picture. Is nice and light, for carrying around, and sturdy. Remote must be aimed at the front to work. Sound is okay, not super, but okay. Volume is for me a bit odd to adjust (Buttons to push and hold down. Not a dial to spin!) I find it awkward. These are just minor things to know about it. I would buy it again!

Beautiful picture and easy to operate. The lid doesn't close tightly and seems a bit delicate for a child to use but with an adult in control, it seems fine. The sound is good but you can hear the DVD turning (not too loudly but still there). I purchased for using during hurricane and it did the job (& battery held for two consecutive movies. Didn't use past those two). As a portable player I'm very well pleased!

Nice portable dvd player for the price I paid. Picture quality is good enough. Sound is a little hard to hear when in a room with a lot of noise. Battery life is excellent. I can watch over 2 full movies before I recharge though it does take several hours to get a full recharge. If I don't want to wait for a full recharge I just leave it plugged up while I watch. Overall, quite happy with this purchase.

The Sylvania - 10" Portable DVD Player is a great combination of size and portability while still providing a large and quality picture. I shopped for many different brands and costs, and feel this unit has the most value for the dollar. All my DVDs work well, no issues. The sound from the built in speakers is okay, but plug in earphones and you get a great picture and sound experience. I feel I could have paid a lot more and not had anything better than this unit provides me.

This DVD player worked out well for my husband to use during recent hospitalizations to play movies instead of watching cable TV. The speakers are minimal, even turned up to the max of 20, but headphones were used most of the time for a little better sound over room and bed noises in the hospital. We tried using it at home with our flat screen TV/Bose Speaker bar and it worked ok the first time. Second time, after plugging it in to the AV OUT on DVD player and hooking it up to TV, there was a buzz sound coming through our Bose speaker that we couldn't eliminate after plugging, unplugging the cable from the DVD player. The third time, it wouldn't work at all with our TV. I think there's something wrong with that plug in connection on the DVD player. I will need to take it back and get an exchange. It still works on its own adequately. Did not use the remote; it's quite small and hard to see the labels on the buttons.

I bought this to replace an old player. My requirements were the size and price. I didn't get it on sale, but has been $85. That did not matter, as this player exceeds my expectations. I especially enjoy the USB input, as I have many movie files backed up on my computer. I have not used the flash card input yet. This player is extremely lightweight. It has never run out of battery yet. I only watch one movie in one sitting, so the 2 hours the movie runs is just fine. The screen is extremely clear, though very reflective. I hope one day they make a non-reflective screen. The controls work well and convenient on top, rather than the side as other units have. I cannot say much about the speakers, as I only use headphones.

This has the best size screen for the money. Also, has a remote control which is nice to have so you don't have to fumble with the dvd buttons to pause or adjust the volume.

This portable DVD player comes in pretty handy for road trips or just slow days at work. The only thing I found is that it doesn’t get too loud. So if you’re in the car you might want some headphones.

This portable DVD player is a must have with children!! Great on the go device to take on a plane, train, bus, or car. Easy to use and lightweight. We bought 2 so the kids could link up with the same movie or each watch a separate one . Plug in the headphones and settle down for some peace and quiet

Picture is good. Easy to use. Good hookups. Sound is very low at max. Will not be loud enough for surrounding noise. Need external wired speaker

I was taking a recent trip and wanted a personal player for the trip. It packed well in my carry on and worked great on the airplane.

This unit worked great. The child had no problems as it was very easy to use. It made for a more enjoyable long trip.

Looking for a very simple- to-use dvd player for a 90-year old relative needing to play an exercise DVD to counteract Parkinson's. Also was looking for largest screen available to make viewing easier. This fit the bill perfectly. Easy to use and runs for 5 hours on fully charged batteries.

The unit is very light weight, the screen is sharp with good contrast range and the DVD drive is quiet. The remote buttons are easy to use. The only drawbacks are the speakers are just ok, could use more volume ability, and there isn't a menu button on the unit itself (if something happens to the remote).

This unit has a few good things going for it. The battery life is good, my son watched 2 full movies on it without having to charge the unit. Navigating the unit was easy enough for an 8 year old. The swivel screen was a nice feature so that he could put it on his lap and not accidentally bump a button.
