I bought this product with a new pc for my mobile life. It has been good so far. Very good support for browsing and watching movies online. So far no problems with data transfers at all and no compromise on speed.

Gets too hot Must be kept close to tablet Short battery life Poor Reception I plan to return this when I get a chance. Don't waste your time with this ome.

Great product and very useful, many great features in one small package

It only went to G speed. I honestly think dial up would have been faster! Poor quality and not worth the investment! Won't be buying anymore tmobile products anytime soon!

We needed basic Internet access for temporary office space for a month, and didn't want to sign a contract with an ISP. This was a great solution for us, since we only had 3 people and a good cell signal. Getting started with it was easy. The $50 3 GB pre-paid pass was adequate for three of us doing basic emails, browsing, and Windows Updates for a month. However, the renewal process was a disaster. The device attempted to guide me to a T-Mobile renewal process that didn't work. And you cannot go to the T-Mobile general site and find a pass with a search. I tried to purchase through Wal-Mart ( 'email delivery within hours' ) but Wal-Mart never delivered, so I cancelled the order. Finally, the following day the T-Mobile process worked, but by then we'd been without Internet access for a day. The only other comment is the WiFi network has a connection limit of 5. We had 3 workers continuously and a wireless printer, so when 2 people came to visit someone had to disconnect (even though the printer didn't require Internet access).

We needed internet for our house, both for work and home purposes. We happened upon this device after researching other 3G mobile WiFi devices and were surprised that there was a 4G option without a contract. The device is as big as my tiny phone, the signal is wonderful, the battery works great, the modem turns itself to sleep mode when not in use. It's pretty genius. We're pleasantly shocked at how awesome it's been working :-D

This pay as you go, no contract broadband product is a great alternative to costly cable and DSL providers. The speed is just as fast as when I connect to public wifi networks and it allows me to have internet access at home or on the go. The only down side I've come across so far is that when I logged into my T-Mobile account to add funds and buy a new monthly pass, the website was giving me an error when I tried to pay by credit or debit card, but I was able to add funds by calling the toll free customer service number. The account was not hard to set up, however you have to go to one website to manage your administrative password and security key and another website for making payments or changing monthly pass options. I wish you could do everything through one site.

Bought this several months ago. Works very well, easy to use. I wanted a portable WiFi solution for a WiFi-only tablet. And also an emergency WiFi in case my cable internet goes out at home. Wanted a pay as you go method, because Lord knows, I have too many other monthly subscriptions. Works as advertised. Once, I thought it had bit the dust, it wouldn't turn on, but called ZTE customer service, they said "pull the battery out and count to 10", I did, and voila, it works. Would recommend.

This was my choice replacement for the Best Buy Connect. mifi hotspot. What an improvemnent over that product. Works often and works well with long battery life and ease of use. Thought it would be great to get the Walmart refill Deal of 3.5GB or 60 days but that only applies if you purchase the product from Walmart. Come on Best Buy, get this refill option for your customers and this product's service would be perfect.

I don't typically take the time to write reviews but this has been a frustrating experience. The internet speeds were LOW and kept dropping. A ticket was opened with T-mobile and they said it was a known issue in my area & would be resolved within 3 days. Called back after 3 days & was told they were working on it but no timeline to when it would be fixed. Still not fixed after waiting a week & they said they cannot refund me for unused GB purchased on the refill card. So not only a lot of lost time & phone calls, but also money that they refuse to refund. I work from home so have to switch carriers and now buy a new device & data card. Bottom line, stay away from T-mobile!!!!!!

Bought this to use in a private home without internet access. Three of us used it at the same time on our respective computers and had excellent speed. Connectivity never hiccuped.

I bought this originally just for vacation but.. I have been using this everyday with my ipad, laptop and xbox 360. The device is so small and incredibly easy to use, set up, and is FAST! And it only to minutes to set up! I have posted a video of a speed test i did using my hotspot. Check it out and see it in action for yourself!! Buy IT!!

I had been using this device for over 2 years and is great. It normally works with two laptops under vpn tunnel, plus my cell, plus the iPad. 4G is great. I also driving to different locations and the laptops mantein outstanding connection

I wanted a low cost, no contract service when internet service and wifi was not available., like at the airport , in my car or at the beach. With the T-Mobile Hotspot I can surf the net, stream video, and read email on my Blackberry Playbook. The only problem was setting up my account. The instructions in the handbook were not clear. I called T-mobile and a support team member was very informative and patient.

It's a bit expensive, but it's certainly cheaper than turning your iPhone into a hot spot. If you're somewhere and you don't need to buy a router, this is a great alternative. It is a T-Mobile product, so service isn't always great. But if you find a place where this device gets 4G service, it's a fantastic way to access the internet.

Read previous reviews about the hotspot and thought this would be best due to the cost but trouble began before I brought it home. Representative tried to activate the device for me in the store and it couldn't be activated. Brought the device home and called T Mobile customer service (which was very good) but I still could not connect to the internet. Brought back to the store the device the same day. Lost money on the prepaid pass so don't buy the pass before connecting the device to the internet.

I bought one of this t use temporarily when I moved to the East Coast. The guy in the store said I would have 4G network in my location. It barely worked, VERY BAD CONNECTION and when I brought it back to return it in store they said I went over ONE DAY pass the 15 days limit, so they DIDN'T RETURN MY MONEY. SO I SPENT $170 FOR NOTHING.

This was difficult to setup. Couldn't even get it to work. Returned it to store.
