It is a functional cell phone, and that is about all. The headset is clear and I have only lost signal in tunnels and mountains. As a far as a cell phone it is good. It advertises applications, web, and email which it should not. There are no applications available for download via the tmobile store built into the phone. The internet browser and email capabilities run so slowly that they usually freeze and crash. If you need a cheap reliable cell phone and nothing else this is for you. If you want a phone with applications, pick a different model.

Perfect for me

I've been using this phone for several months now. It's perfect for me. I'm not the type of person who likes a smartphone. I use my phone for talking and texting. This phone has excellent reception and call quality. It's probably the best phone I've ever had in terms of those two things. It has a solid feel, and the keys have really nice feedback. Texting is very easy and comfortable.
I like that the finish of the phone is smooth as opposed to plastic-that keeps the fingerprints to a minimum. The battery life is pretty good except when I play Tetris. The camera is simply *okay* in the right lighting.
I recommend this phone for people who are on a budget, first time cell phone users, and people who want a solid phone that will last a long time.

I got this phone for my husband who hates cell phones and has a tendency to put them in washer without checking. He is not allowed to use my smart phone! The price is exactly right for his replacements, the sound quality is good and it fits, in his pocket. Good thing he doesn't text: the keys are too small.

Great Back-Up Phone for Cheap!

Dont waste your time going to T-Mobile and spending $70 on this phone when you can get it from Best Buy. I broke my Samsung Vibrant recently and refused to buy a new phone. I am in the process of moving to Verizon soon and needed a cheap back up until I move. This was perfect. If you are wanting any kind of internet capability, buy a different phone. This this is extremely basic. Phone calls and Texting is about all I would recommend for this handset. Overall, a great phone for a cheap price. The only thing I dont like about this phone is texting can be a pain after using a smart phone for so long.

I got this phone to replace my previous one that's past it's useful life. The only decent aspect of this one is that you can see the screen better than the Nokia and hear calls better. The battery life is extremely short, and there are no audible warnings when the battery is getting low, it just turns off.

You can't beat the price for this phone. We are on a month to month contract and this was much more cost effective than anything in the T-Mobile store.

Great Phone with a couple of draw backs

The phone is great but two things that would make this phone even better are not included. The First is that the phone does not have a syncronize button to update your contacts with T-Mobile you have to juggle the sim card with your older phone. Second the is no way to add more memory to the phone ,and there is no video on board, The speaker phone is a littler harsh in quality

The hand set is well assembled and the fit and finish look nice but if you're looking for features this phone doesn't even have a phone book management tool for your computer. The only way to get pictures off of it is by MMS message.
On the upside, it does use micro USB for its charger so we're on standard there but the charging port and nice fitting pieces (and the low price) are the only positives on this phone.

The phone is ideal for what I wanted it for to have on hand for emergency use but but the charges for minutes and money are too hard to figure out. Out of a 1k min. bought I am already down to 470 min. left and I think they are charging Triple min. I have not used it very much. 1 call, checked voice mail, and received a couple of unwanted text spam

Unacceptable battery life

Bought this phone for my high-schooler son for "emergency" use. Basic features etc as we wanted, but battery life is so poor that it can not be used for this so we are stuck with the phone. From a full charge battery will die in 36 hours if phone is left on but not used, and battery is dead after 3 days even if phone is turned off and left in a drawer. Therefore we would need to charge this phone every 2 days and leave it turned off - unacceptable for "emergency use". My old Nokia will hold a charge for weeks if left turned off - so he is using it now instead.
Phone and battery have been sent back to LG's 3rd party service center twice for warranty service - they just return it saying "no trouble found" after a few days. I will never buy another LG product.

This phone is easy to use, very compact. Good for a first time phone user. This phone has a lot of static when talking to someone. The speakerphone is garbled. Could have been a defective phone.

So-so antenna, sound, and camera. Does have useful volume control. non-standard headphone port. Is cheap though.
