If you aren't familiar with the tales series, this game might be a bit hard to learn, but you will get it after playing a while. That being said I played the other series on nintendo's platforms and the graphics for the ps4 were a lot better. Movie scenes were like I was watching an anime. I think the battle system could use some work/tweeking. So far I think it's a decent game

I'm only a couple hours in but it's been fun so far. The beginning is a little slow but I'm new to the series so the pace works. I've got a lot to learn

I'm still playing this, so even if I wanted to give it more than '4 stars' I couldn't. That being said, it follows the familiar format of Tales games, if not a bit more annoying than previous entries. The story, so far is a bit cheesy, but that can always change. The music, though, is grating (at least to me). I'll see how it plays out and perhaps I can edit my post.

It's a true tales games fun battle system. Story lacks a little but its still a must play for tales fans

This game has a good battle system and as many side quests as you could want. Definitely worth trying.

I have always been a follower of the Tales of series. This is a great addition to that series and I am having a great time playing this through.

Like the new characters for this tales game. A few new options for the combat. The dlc's are a little ridiculous though. Great game overall!

It seems like only yesterday that the Tales games started their resurgence into the Western market with the amazing Symphonia title. There have been hits and misses since then in the franchise - I would place this one about in the middle. If you enjoy Tales games, go for it, but don't expect a Symphonia or Vesperia.

Everything about the game is perfect from the atmosphere to the gameplay, must play.

This is simply just another great addition to a great game franchise. However this game does seem to be more dark.

Originally had my doubts about this game based on reviews online etc. I found that the things that were turning me away from the game "bad story. Weak combat. Etc." could not have been more wrong. First game in the tales series for me and certainly not the last. Highly recommended

This game is great. A good addition to the Tales of Series. Fun combat and likable characters too.

Pretty fun rpg. Not as great as Tales of Vesperia for 360, but will still keep you entertained.

This game is a good bridge for inexperienced JRPG players as well as a fun entry for seasoned ones. The story is pretty good and the gameplay is as well, so you will be able to keep yourself entertained for a decent amount of hours.

Great plot, fun, great sense of humor, battle system that is highly responsive. Love it!!

I am a big fan of the Tales series of games. This one is an interesting new chapter on the continuing changes to the battle system. The story is a little bit different but good none the less.
