Customers are satisfied with the engaging story, fun gameplay mechanics, and enjoyable battle system in Tales of Zestiria. Many also praised the game's music and open world. However, some players expressed concerns about the camera controls and dialogue, finding them challenging at times. The overall experience, though, is largely positive.

Interesting story and lively characters along with a fun battle system makes this another good game in the series.

I didn't expect much going into this, but I got on of my top 5 games of all time. Incredible characters and characterization, brilliant story. So much fun. Combat is as deep or shallow as you want it to be.

I liked the story and the characters. The battle system is ok, but sometimes the stats of the player and enemy are such that you can fight for quite a while before inflicting any damage. It was a little frustrating. I did get used to this. The game shows where to go to get to the next mission, which I like. The star on the map shows where to go, but if you are not in the correct area the star doesn't show. You then have to go in and out of map areas until you see the star. Also a bit frustrating. All in all I am enjoying the game and would recommend it to others.

I have loved the tales series since the first playstation. I like the older kind of JRPG's, the combat is fun and not overly difficult. Story keeps everything moving and i like the visuals.

The Tales series continues to be one of my favorite franchises. They do enough from title to title to keep it fresh but familiar. AWESOME 1-4 player co-op. If you have never tried this series and like RPGs, you are missing out.

This game is pretty good and has a lot going for it, but it becomes clear very early on that it's lacking polish. Initially I was enjoying the story, but it became very hard to know where I was needing to go for the next part of the story.
I would recommend it for patient rpg fans who don't mind doubling back very often trying to find your way. It's good other than that but I just lost my patience with it.

This is my first tales series game. It's pretty good. It has a lot of dialogue and cheesy humor but it's what makes the game. All the characters are unique. The combat system is ok starts out as linear but you can unlock free roam later. Enemies are a mix of easy and difficult. Random difficult spikes but nothing you can't handle. The story is pretty good. And dungeons are nice to explore. Cut scenes are great and some change based on your choices. If you can pick this game up cheap it's worth it.

The Tales franchise has always been known for amazing visuals, great stories, and fun gameplay mechanics. Tales of Zestiria got the look and gameplay right with a big open world and great customization, however the story in this Tales title is weak and forgettable. If you are looking to play an RPG this is an enjoyable experience but overall I was left disappointed with this entry in the franchise.

I got this title at the same time as the PS4 system itself, so needless to say I have yet to complete it with so many other games on my plate. What I did experience was attention to detail and an engrossing intro to yet another entry in a fantastic series of RPGs.

I've been a huge fan of the Tales of series but lately these games have gone awry. The stages and environments are all bland and empty. I feel like the world should be a lot more detailed than what is offered. Sadly, I feel like I'm still playing a high resolution PS2 games with the lack of detail. The last few games that released felt rushed and ultimately lack luster. I'm still an avid fan and am looking forward to the future releases.

I have played all the Tales games, and I have to say this one is one of my favorites. The 2 player experience that NAMCO provides in the Tales RPG games, makes the games even better. I wish Square enix would take note!

Was a bit skeptical at some of the changes to the main systems (skills, artes, etc...), but after 10+ hours already I'm hooked.

Pretty great open-world RPG, great voicing and soundtrack. I find the battle system to be somewhat problematic sometimes, not a lot explained up front about it.
