Great All Purpose Lens
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finally bit the bullet and purchased this Tamron all-in-one lens and love it. It is perfect for what I use it for (social media and web-use images for clients) and comes with a handy lens hood. However, if the lens hood isn't screwed on properly it will produce a black shadow on the corner of the viewing area.

Good walk around lens

Images are acceptable but if you're a pixel peeper then you'll be disappointed. For a walk around lens it's doable. Just a warning, if you're going to use this for the R series camera with an adapter it will severely vignettes at all focal length.
