The docking station is not like the traditional ones I was used to. It does not connect the computer to the power source, so there is an extra cord required for that. It does however facilitate duel screens, HDMI output, and the 4 USB ports helped sync/charge other devices

This is a good product, but it's not as quick as I would like. Sometimes there is a little bit of lag, but for the most part it's pretty good. Maybe would not be the best if you're gaming. Note, I am not a gamer and did not test it out on any games; literally I use it to edit videos (PremierePro on one screen, other info on the other), and I also use it to work on accounting projects (Excel on one screen, reference data on the other).

I needed a way to connect by Best Buy bought Dell laptop with 2 Dell monitors. This little unit works perfectly. Setup was easy and it allows me to have three monitors (includes the laptop monitor). With the USB ports on the unit, I can hook up a keyboard and wireless mouse as well. The only thing I unplug from the laptop when I take it with me is the USB connection to the dock and the power cord. Clean. Oh, I also had Best Buy price match this. Big savings.

I have used a few USB docks in my career, but I was stuck with Dell dock that may have had an old DisplayLink chip in it. I couldn't even do video chat in Slack because WebGL didn't work, so I was not too enthused by DisplayLink. When I had to give the Dell dock back to my company and bought this Targus dock, I expected no better, but this dock has completely changed my opinion. Everything worked on this dock...and it all worked well! Even Slack worked! I'm very pleased with this dock and would definitely recommend spending the bit more money for a dock that has multiple video outs. It's well worth it over messing with a laptop!

I have a laptop with 2 additional computer monitors. I have all 3 screen being used. I would recommend this to anyone wanting 2 to 3 screens.

Besides the awful customer service provided, the product is great and just what my mom needed.

Simple to set up, totally plug and play. Slim form factor doesn't take up much space on the desk.

I miss the docking stations for laptops because you just had the one step of slapping it down and then being connected. With these devices you have the USB insert and then separately you have to insert your power cord to the laptop but this product works way better than most of its type.

This is a great product very easy to setup and use. Great price.

The Targus 2K docking station does everything it was advertised to do. It allows my HP Spectre X360 to run dual HD monitors (not 4K) perfectly while allowing ample hook ups of accessory items. I recommend this docking station.

While the plug and play capability of this docking station works well, I returned it because it didn't have enough USB 3.0 ports for me. Plus it was more expensive than other models out there.

This devices works great, very little setup involved. It's very nice to only have 1 cable to deal with when moving my laptop between home and office. The following are connect to the hub, with 1 USB3 cable from hub to laptop; Ultra Wide Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, DVD drive, Speakers, Ethernet I was initially concerned about video performance, I have this connected to a Ultra Wide monitor ( 2560 x 1080 ). But performance is great, I can't tell any difference between going through this Hub and having the monitor connected directory to the laptop. I don't use it for gaming, but do watch videos on it. And... I can now use the HDMI port on the laptop to connect a 2nd monitor.

The docking station is just what I need to add another monitor. It makes my job easier to have two screens and the docking station delivers on its promises

This was purchased to consolidate wires on my desk. I have lots of USB connected devices. Great little product. The price could be lesser expensive.

Easy set up. Just plug in devices and good to go. Works with 2 monitor set up only (not including laptop).

I bought this docking station for a client and it works great bu is very pricey.

This docking station is compact, but practical. I was able to connect external backup drives, two 27 inch monitors, printer, and thumb drive. So far, excellent experience. However, I do feel that the $200 price tag was excessive. If money is no object, buy this one over the other choices.
