It works as a portable single laptop lock. The combination is easy to change with a screw driver whe to is unlocked.

Standard Cable locking device for Laptops, BUT it did not fit my HP Pavillion Laptop lock slot! (circa 2017) Tried it on 3 different laptops, and it worked perfectly. (Dell, HP etc) The issue is, I am assuming is when I insert the tab in the slot, it does not fully "seat" and the clearance is too " tight" on the case for the tab to turn 90 degrees to let the dials spin freely? I don't yet have another laptop lock to double check this. I must have have installed 20 cable locks over the years in my IT job and never had this issue. I'm thinking so far it is an laptop issue and not a locking cable issue, but these devices are not theft proof, you can still rip out the lock by a couple of hard tugs and wreaking the case, but in some cases the laptop in fully usable, just not very presentable. There are other ways to defeat these locks, but won't get into this here. Hence the 4 stars, keeps the honest people honest and makes you think do you want to go thru the trouble of stealing this laptop? :)

A basic computer cable lock. It doesn't have the same feel as a Kensington cable lock, which is what I wanted and was willing to pay for, but it was in stock and I needed basic security. That's exactly what it is, basic security. If someone really wants your laptop, this will slow them down, but it won't keep it really secure. For the money and in a pinch, it works.

I feel so much more comfortable using my laptop in public spaces now that I have this lock. Its also great because it has a 4 digit code - no keys to lose!

This is a great security lock - will allow peace of mind when my student takes laptop to the university.

The security cable is an inexpensive way to help secure a laptop from a would-be thief. I believe the cable could be cut with cable cutters but most opportunist thieves would not be so equipped. The lock was easily programmed to a combination of choice and installed. It was also easy to select the combination and remove the lock when desired.

Easy to work most of the time, but I wish I didn't have to use it. lock is smooth and easy to open.

This product has made me feel better when I have to leave my laptop in my college dorm. I heard that items in all colleges get walked off with.

Works exactly as advertised. Used it in the office when I had to bring a piece of personal equipment in. No brainer.

This product is very nice. Especially since it is coiled shaped, it doesn't take much space and doesn't hang.

This product is nothing special, but it works just like it is supposed to. It has kept my laptop safe so far.

I had to return this product because it did not fit my Alienware 17 R3. However, it was a decent price and I like combination locks over keys because what if a key is lost? I bet it will be great for other laptop models.

Easy to use, change combo and to set up. Out of all the locks I have used, this was seems to be the best.
