my Surface Book w/performance base slipped out of my truck onto the pavement and the only damage to it was caused by the zipper. if they put the padding under zipper, or just no zipper then my almost $4,000 laptop would be fine. Instead the zipper caused a hard point of impact that has caused damage to the headphone jack and the screen.

The carrier case I purchased for my brother's Mac book pro was exactly what I was looking for. I bought it as a gift for my brother. He really likes it and said it has protected his Mac book pro from damage when dropped. In addition to protecting the Mac book pro, it looks great and not too bulky. I loved how the corners are reinforced but do not make it look ugly. This item is perfect for a person who is looking for a nice looking black case. Too bad they don't make them in different colors for those of us who like some pizzaz in a carrier. So move on if you're looking for something more colorful. It was a reasonable prize and the right size too.

We bought this case for our laptop because we wanted something that would be durable enough to use while traveling. This laptop case went with us on our vacation and held up beautifully. I don't think there's even a scratch on it. The padding is sufficient to protect our laptop from small, gentle falls (dropping from the bed to the floor, riding in the car, etc). The pockets also provide adequate room for the laptop's charging cord, as well as a few other cords and the mouse. We haven't thrown the case around to test it or anything, but our laptop's been protected, and that's what matters. Overall, it's a sturdy bag that's worth the investment.

Provides very good protection. Pockets on front and back hold everything I need for my laptop. Fits 13.3 dell inspiron like a glove. Super satisfied.

The case itself is very well designed and has excellent padding to protect the laptop. The only downside is that the side zipper pocket is quite small. For my MacBook Air, it provides enough room for the ac adapter and a magic mouse but that is about it. Having owned many laptops (most of which have larger power bricks) I feel that the adapter would stretch the pocket and stick out a considerable amount and would be at risk of getting bumped into things and possibly damaging the laptop. If you have a thin laptop and don't need to carry any extras, it is a good case. If you need to haul "stuff", get a larger case.

This is a really nice slipcase. I use it for my Microsoft Surface Book, and it fits perfectly. The quality is excellent, and the two zipper pockets are very useful. There are two things that I wish were different. I would have liked a choice of colors, and it would also be nice if there were handles for times that I don't want to use the shoulder strap.

This case comes is a great mix between a case and a sleeve. I love that it is thick and has rubber corners because I am known for dropping things. The inside is very soft. I stick it in my back pack and I'm good to go. It's slightly bulky compared to a sleeve but still sleek enough that it won't take up your entire back pack. I carry 3 notebooks, 2 folders for loose papers and a small book along with my laptop in my back pack and there's still some room. The small pocket holds my charger and there is a bigger pocket for anything else you need.

This case is lightweight and rugged. It has a lot of padding for protection as well as extra storage. Also has a shoulder strap for ease of carry.

This thing is nearly bulletproof. It has plenty of storage and my Toshiba 14.5 fits perfectly. I highly recommend it, ya can't go wrong

If you purchase an expensive lap top or tablet, you are going to want to protect it from damage. This case is great because it provides protection and has several pockets to put cords, portable external hard drives, etc.

This laptop case is outstanding! It fits and protects my laptop and accessories perfecly. I can place it in my backpack when traveling or use it by itself. I highly recommend this product!

Great carrying case for any tablet or I use it for Surface Pro 3. I have room for additional mouse and chargers as well and other items. Lightweight and great for travel.

Durable, great looking, and has the right amount of pockets. This bag is great to protect my new Dell XPS 13. Great carry bag with practical look. Love it.

Well designed it fit my 13 inch 2in1, a pocket for my 7 inch tablet and a pocket for my cables. Never dropped it so can't say it protects all that well although it does have rubber corners.

All things considered, it does what it's supposed to: keeps laptop dry from low levels of rain from commuting, has a few storage spaces that can add a strange shape to the otherwise sleek and flat dimensions, and protects my laptop from my inadvertent barbarisms. I haven't dropped it yet and don't intend to, so can't tell you what will happen. Sturdy design.

It has sufficient pockets to store my additional external hard drive and the necessary cables for my 13 inch MacBook. It is nicely padded and has a convenient shoulder strap. Wish it came in different colors, but black goes with everything I guess.

Perfect for my laptop. The reenforced corners are fantastic. The double stitching is very well done. Targus never fails to disappoint in laptop cases! Worth the little bit of extra money.

Thus product is well built and very protective. The only downfall would be the price. Pretty expensive for a laptop sleeve.
