Item is working when you laptop don't have many ports.

Works as advertised. Economical, functional USB hub.

I was looking for a replacement of my exising USB hub that didn't work that well. This one offers me constant connection with my devices. My only problem I had was my own fault I failed to realize that this is really used for one side of device if you are picky about how things are hooked up. BUT, this was a oversight on my part.

A good tool for laptops, most only have 3 ports. I really needed.

A great buy for the money at USB 2 standards. If you are looking for a faster connection I would get USB 3 but for simply for ports that I needed, it was great. (I don't touch USB 1 anymore because it is just too slow). Cord is short enough that it won't take that much extra room using this.

This device performs as it is advertised. I needed additional ports on my desktop. This device passes power through it to the additional ports. If I were using devices that required a lot of power, I would check the specs on the port supplying power to the hub.

Works as advertised, expanded capibilities and speed.
