What I needed was more outlets and this provided the solution, and there has not been a malfunction.

The 4 plug solved all my needs. Works great to connect my external mouse, printer, CD player and external hard drive.

I bought this about a week ago for my laptop which only have two USB ports. This really came in handy so I could always keep a small USB drive in the machine.

Yes, this is a very nice port for additional spots. The only down side is that it is not very flexible when connected to the side of your computer.
